I want to cancel one of my websites
Looks like you have good accurate answers below already.
I have a challenge in buying website names because often I decide I would like to change my name because I come up with a better name. So I am learning to do some research first. I use namemesh seo section to get ideas. and domain value to check on its market value even before purchase.
We actually own over 25 different domain names for different ideas we've had. My plan is to build them out minimally, then let them age, to ultimately sell them. Hosting is so cheap it's worth it.
It does, yes, as you didn't mention a specific Registrar, I assumed WA. If they are not registered via WA, then you will need to login to the appropriate Registrars website and turn Auto-Renewal Off for the domain name.

I am trying to set up a website to have a limited number of people having access to it. Is it possible to have a password to access it?
Hi, you may find this useful:

Hope it helps. Best wishes.
A plugin can work, but you may also want to explore themes specifically designed to do this, especially if you are hoping for a large number of members. That's what all the larger membership sites do.

I have successfully added myself as a new user to my website as per Kyle's training.
However when I try to change the user in posts I do not get the "quick edit" option.
There's a shortcut which even changes the name on the comments Change Admin to Your Own Name
Go to a post>edit (does not matter which), click on SCREEN Options , upper right hand corner, below your image
Make sure AUTHOR is checked. (You only have to do that once) Now you can scroll down to the area below the WP Editor and you will see a field
Author
Change to the name you wish. You will have to change the Author name on all the posts you want another name showing.
That should take care of it
John
You are welcome. BTW, the Screen Option function is kind of important. Play around with it and see what it is doing, what fields are being opened up, and most importantly, what additional functions.

I want to insert an arrow into a page so that I can point to a picture.
Hi - you'd be best doing that on the actual image itself.
So you're not actually adding an image to the page - you're adding an image (arrow) to your existing image.
This is one of my first videos (and you will be able to tell - confidence, quality, volume etc) - but it will tell you how to do exactly what you are asking (it's not the only way):

I hope that helps?
All the best, Mark
Hi Mark. Good video -clear instructions and solves the issue well. Good luck with future videos.
Unfortunately, you have little control over where the images are placed in wordpress, left, right , or center. The other thing that you can do to control placement is to use tables. There are plugins to create them if you are not familiar with the html.
Hi Greg,
You have full control over where WordPress places your images. See Resize and Insert an Image Where You Want Marion
Thank You for sharing that Marion. I was already very familiar with all of that. As I said, it allows you to place the image left, center , or right, but there is no vertical alignment aside from removing the image and putting it in a different place, which should work sufficiently in most cases, however there have been times that I needed exact placement of an image and there are effective ways of doing that in the html code, but in my experience, you have far more control over page layout by using tables. Another thing that happens when inserting an image is that it will leave a space between lines of text that wasn't there before and in my opinion is unsightly. Anyway, if you know of a solution to this working within the editor that would be great information. Thanks again for your response.

You can either let it run it's course and not renew it or you can sell it on the market.
