Wufoo for Events Management Update
Last year on this day I posted a blog about wufoo stats. I really like using wufoo.com for forms. In case you have never used it, you should take look. They have a free service available and should meet the needs of most new websites. The cool thing is that it saves all the entries and gives the ability for export.
A paid upgrade allows me to use the form for payment processing. Some may think it can be done with cheaper solutions, but I am very satisfied with the service and results I get from wufoo.
I can take this csv and create a nice "will call roster" for checkin or import to a label template and mail out tickets.
Stats Update
Last year (2012), we had a 2 day event that we promoted and sold tickets online. Here is the same stat image I posted last year at this blog post https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/bothewebguy/blog/wufoo-stats-are-cool
I was looking at the stats for "almost" the same event this past December (2013)
At first glance, it looks like we did not do as well. This information will be something to build on for next year.... I will say several things changed. the 2012 was a 2 night event with 2 bands being part of the ticket. We offered a 1 night option so had more entries due to some only wanting to attend 1 night of the event.
2013 was 1 night event with 1 band with a bigger meal option.
I think more money was made in 2012.. Stats and Review of these past years will help us plan 2014 and hopefully increase the profits more this year.
