Why I blog at Wealthy Affiliate - WA Benefits
I was searching for an article that I could send to someone about the benefits of blogging at WA and I couldn't find it..so I figured I would write a blog post on why I blog at Wealthy Affiliate.
People blog about a variety of things here at WA. If you spend some time here, you will read success stories, tips and advice, and motivational posts. On occasion, you will be entertained. You may find some of the posts boring. I have found articles where I disagree with the content or advice given. There is a lot of content here at WA. My last check shows Google has indexed of over 72k pages for this website.
Like every blog system, people start blogging because they have something to say that will either help active readers on the site or help bring people to the website to become active readers.
Some of my blogs are directed to the community; successes, observations, and advice.
Some of my blogs are written to get indexed in Google. WA allows us to add authorship to our posts, so the indexed articles carry our google plus profile link. Wealthy Affiliate Promotion
There are members here that are very successful in niches that have nothing to do with promoting and selling WA. Of course there are members here that do make a considerable amount of money bringing new members to the site. The blog posts on this website help convert those visitors to members. I blog here to make sure my referrals see that I am active and here to help. I also blog to drive more people here to the website.. whether they help me get referrals or help other members get referrals.
How do people see my blog posts?
- My followers get emailed when I post.
- My WA blog posts show on the activity feed as new posts.
- I will share some of my blog posts in facebook and twitter or on my personal website.
How do you get people to read your blog posts?
New members will have to spend some time here, before things they write are read and receive comments. It will happen. Keep adding good content and use what you see from some of the top members here at the site. Learn how to build your readership and you will see your posts get more activity.
Being able to Blog at WA is just one of the many benefits I have received at Wealthy Affiliate. Stay focused. Go through the training here and you will see the benefits also.

Share your post and use the affiliate link drop down to get the code of blogs from other members that may be interesting to your friends and followers.
Just to clarify...When I view someone else's post here at WA and I want to share it...I can get the link at the top of that particular post. That is my affiliate link right...not someone else's link?
yes that is your link, not mine or the person's blog post you are reading. just click affiliate at the top of any page you see and that gives you the link to send someone to that page though your tracking code. Be careful posting those links on google+. Is seems that email/fb and twitter are fine with them.
When you say you "blog here" do you mean like your blog posts to to the right or the fact your sites or hosted here on WA?
Thanks Bo. This was one of my first questions here when I joined. What was the importance of our blog here. Do you recommend the same recommendations and precautions here just like anywhere else then?
As you know, you can't use wa blog posts to solicit for your affiliate products. Leveraging the community traffic to drive traffic to your website is also a no-no. These are both things I would do off the site that I do not do here.
