Website Earnings Update - only 8.7 cents a day
In December of 2014, I reported on a website that was making me money 2 years after I last posted on it. Back then, it was making on average 27 cents a day without me touching it. I know that is not really impressive, but it shows a little success.

Today I reviewed my ad sense account and saw that earnings had fallen to less than 9 cents a day on that website. That is right $31 for the entire year. With the domain cost of about $10, the website is still profitable and I still haven't posted to it since January 2013. That site only has 10 pages indexed in Google results. It still gets search traffic 41 months after the last post. In 2014, it generated $99. In 2013 it generated more than the costs of my WA membership all by itself.
It is not a huge success story, but it should be encouraging to know that this stuff works. If I had built just 18 sites like that one back in 2013, my WA membership would be paid for with just those 18 sites. I have sites that generate a lot more than $30/year.
My WA membership has been paid for many times over with what I have learned at Wealthy Affiliate. I would love to say that I have hundred's of referrals paying me thousands every month. That is not the case for me, but my referrals more than cover my costs here and I have gotten paid on referrals every month since June of 2013.
