Why is wordpress so slow when installing, updating or activating both plugins and themes? I'm concerned that it may spill over to the static and blog pages concerning the very

Rick, all I wanted was to help you. Sites here are really well-optimized and ranked very well in search engines. I've never seen any member here to complain of not getting rankings in search engines due the site speed. It's not perfect but it's enough for SEO. Best regards.

Curiously, have you installed the WP Super Cache? If so, you may need to clear the cache on your website. But, if "Firefox" is slow, you may need to clear the browser cache. Hope this helps :-)
You bet... I use wp super cache, hummingbird for optimizing with testing through metrix and an image optimizer. I won't accept over 2 seconds with a goal to hit 1/2 second as load time to me is an important aspect of my marketing plan. I'm highly ranked on a development group that is almost at 600k but I have not seen as great a step by step plan as this program that I plan to send all my novice marketing clients through and they are all novice at marketing. Kudos to this team. --rick
