When You're King of the Hill Some Will Try to Knock You Off
There have been some WA blogs popping up in recent weeks about another competing product that posted a misleading and slanderous review of WA on their website and on Facebook. I am not going to mention its name or the owner’s name here because recognition is not deserved.
DO NOT FALL INTO HIS TRAP
If you happened to read his extremely long 3-part drivel about WA, you probably wanted to comment and defend WA for the untruths he mentions. DO NOT DO THAT! That is what he wants and needs to further his cause. Just keep on doing what you are doing, taking the training here and applying what you learn.

You are right Robert, Ken could not find anything bad to say about WA. I once had a site on his network. I thought they were great, but nothing compared to WA. They were better than afilorama in my opinion, but when you fall, the fall is steep. I assume he doesn't like the comparison to WA which, the reviews tend to show the better choice. They have a long way to go to be in the same league as WA.

It seems like his fall was very hard and much of it had to do with not embracing WordPress and the Google Panda and Penguin updates, which made the rankings of many of his websites take a nose dive.
Now he is fighting back by saying things about WA, most of them , not all, being not true. I am not someone to do a review of a product unless I actually try it out. Yet he is doing the same thing he is claiming people are doing to him. And several of the bad reviews of his program are from his ex-members.
Thanks Robert for this post. As a competitor, instead of making WA bad, you should admit that WA is great, but at the same time come up with some points, which make your site look even better. That is the way you can convince people. If you're attacked in such a way, never start to justify yourself. Show that you stand above that behavior. If anybody at all should show a reaction to this, then it is Kyle. The best in an open letter. That shows class and confidence!
The true measure of reputable character for the owner of a competing product is to realize one's faults, give credit to where credit is due, make changes to elevate one's product quality, and point out its benefits.
You're right Robert. But if somebody starts to use tactics such as misleading and slanderous reviews, the chance that that person will act as mentioned by you, is pretty small.
Perfect title to you blog article Robert. Jealous competitors will go to extreme means to knock off that company/program that clearly is at the top. The proof is in the pudding, starkly seen in the graph image that you inserted into your article that WA is the best program on the Internet for those motivated people who want to learn how to create success and wealth for themselves in an online business.
You are also right in that WA members as a strategy should ignore the drivel of the individual trying in his vain attempt to bash this company. Replying to his inane posts just gives this fool the attention that he does NOT deserve.
Every trading video is worth admission alone per video and we get it all for practice free. I feel WA value is priceless! I was paying $180 a month for a multi cash flow. After a couple of months and hard work, my links didn't work. Next I had to buy traffic. Out of frustration I found WA. So, I got a new debit card and joined. Priceless I say!!!
I actually read the article since I was curious... So I did my own research and found it... Let me tell you that his rant against WA is a long winded thing. It must have taken him quite some time to prepare it!
After reading most of it, I was a little disappointed that I wasn't seeing much people defending WA, but after reading your post, it just makes sense not to give him more traffic and in that manner, increasing his visibility.
Wealthy Affiliate is a business, yes, but I see it as a community first. I cannot talk about the other guy here, all I can say is I truly believe in WA and I see myself promoting this place to anybody that is willing to listen.

I was reclining on my couch yesterday, Saturday, with my iPad and reading this oh so long and boring article. I got through part 1, definitely not reading all 20,000+ words, and started on part 2.
I got about half way through part 2 and I passed out from the boredom. I was fast asleep for a few hours. At least his article is a great way to put someone to sleep. lol
I think the results speak for itself.The training here works.I can see it with two of my sites that I started with WA,.

As for the negative review, the author did not even try WA and based his conclusions on some misguided information that really does not prove success.
I hear what you're saying Robert, we're talking about the same article, it was a very long and boring load of drivel, it was enough to put anyone off this particular program! If you want to learn about making money online Wealthy Affiliate really does have loads to offer.

When I see those slanderous blogs I don't bother looking at them.
I know what I have here and that's all that counts for me.
Living in Canada I pay much more per month (close to $30 more) and of course I chose to go yearly, making it cheaper. It's still much more but worth it.
I didn't know about Black Friday, although I only joined March 8th, 2017. That would be great for me seeing how much more I pay. Would that be in December?

Yes, the exchange rates can vary between countries, but overall regardless of what they are, WA still offers far more for the low price than anyone else anywhere.
The Black Friday special sale price begins at the end of November on the Friday after Thanksgiving and normally runs until Cyber Monday. But often times Kyle will extend the sale for a few days past Cyber Monday.
That won't help me then because I went yearly in April.
Actually, my first month I paid $29.95CAD (19.99USD)
Then the 2nd month I paid.....$76.20CAD (49.00USD)
And April 20th, I paid yearly the balance $513.88CAD so that is for 10 months.
I agree it is a great deal for what we have here.

Even if you are a yearly member already, you can still take advantage of the Black Friday sale when it comes up.
It doesn't matter. Whatever you have paid into the membership up to the time of the sale, will be deducted from the sale price for the first year. Then every year on the date you took the sale, you will be charged the $299.

Actually the Black Friday deal last year gave the option to extend the yearly membership by 12 months.

Don't know if the person you are talking about is the same person as the one I saw passing some day back then, but what I figured was that that person was just trying to sell his product over WA's. And when its just a money game I am not interested. He's no way better than anyone else that way.
WA is great, one of the best products I have seen. Of course there is also stuff about WA bootcampers that I don't like. For example the compare tool is often misused in that people say that everything else is shit without trying it out. You won't find those diagrams on my sites. There are pros and cons to every program out there, they will all be looking into making some money out of you one way or another, WA too. Nothing is for free, except the sun coming up.
