Wealthy Affiliate is My Secret Weapon

First off I would like to thank everyone who sent condolences for the recent loss of my sister to cancer treatments. During the eulogy at her funeral services I mentioned that I would be creating a website with the help of my nephew called Sandra’s Art for the Cure.

My sister Sandra was a graduate of the popular New York University FIT, Fashion Institute of Technology. They are a college of art, business, design, mass communication, and technology connected to the fashion industry. After many years as a textile designer she became an artist during retirement.

During the last years of my sister’s life she had painted many different types of artwork under the pen name S Wade. I have even included a couple of pictures here within this blog. The majority of exposure my sister’s artwork got was from an art gallery in Atlanta, Georgia.

HOW WAS WA MY SECRET WEAPON?

During those last years of my sister’s life I knew that my sister would be able to sell more of her artwork if she had her own website. However she did not want to go that route too soon because she was afraid that her earnings would hurt her disability compensation.

But now that she is gone my nephew, her son, has given me the green light to start the website. He is going to provide the content for the stories behind each piece of art and I will utilize the training I gained her at WA and build the website with content that is search engine optimized. The money earned will go to breast cancer research.

Most people think that building this website will take many months and lots of coding. However I was able to get the initial website with a theme perfect for artists / photographers up and running, with a perfect header image, 3 pages, 2 posts (all with no content yet) and customized to the perfect color all within 30 minutes.

My nephew was stunned that I was able to get so much done in such a short period of time. How was I able to accomplish so much in such a quick manner? I used my secret weapon. The awesome Site Rubix website builder and my training provided at Wealthy Affiliate.

DO YOU REALIZE HOW LUCKY YOU ARE?

Every one of you will be able to do what I did if not now, in the near future. You have all the tools and resources you will ever need all under one roof. Do you realize how lucky we all are for being members here at WA? For only $1.18 more per month per website, all Premium members can build up to 25 websites on our own domain names plus 25 free websites.

And because we can build the shell portion of these websites in a matter of minutes without having to program anything, getting a website or multiple websites running is a snap. I have built websites for people who are not members of WA and they are always amazed at how fast I can do it.

Of course I never tell them how I can do most of the work so fast. In my opinion, the less they know about my secret weapon the more they will want me to do more work for them in the future. Think of the possibilities you have at your fingertips to make extra money building websites for other people.

While you are waiting for your website to gain traffic and thus sales, you could be building websites for other people and getting paid. Wealthy Affiliate offers all of us members several ways to make money from home beyond that from our own websites.

All you have to do is find people that need websites built, keyword research and SEO provided, or content written. Your ability to make extra money is in your hands. Your secret weapon, the training and knowledge of WA and the resources, can lead you to more opportunities than you imagine. Think BIG!

Cheers,Pratik

Thank you Pratik.

My condolences to you and your family. It appears that something great is about to happen. Wishing you success. Dennis

Thank you Dennis. I hope so as far as the new website. They say that when one door closes another one opens.

I'm very sorry for your loss, Rob. You honor Sandra's memory well - with your website and the beautiful display of her artwork, for posterity.

Thank you Hal. I hope people the world over will come to love her artwork.

May your sister RIP.

She was very fortunate to have attended FIT, I passed by there often, and to me, that building exuded professionalism.

Those designs will do well. I think they are unique.

Success.
Trevor

Thank you Trevor. FIT is in a nice cultural area of the city. Chelsea has a certain unique character all its own, I think.

So Sorry for your families loss :( and what a wonderful way to honor your sister.

Thank you. It is the least I can do for such a talented artist that didn't get much attention for her work in her final days.

When I get shivers in my neck, it means it is something good, and this is Robert

Thanks! But are you sure you do not have the window open behind you Loes? lol

Pretty sure Robert I do not have, it's 7 degrees C outside

I really like the sample images of hers!! They would work nicely as reproduced prints and as fabric patterns for pillow covers etc. Good for you!!! This should be a satisfying project!!!

Yes, she has sold several as Giclées of her paintings.

My condolences to you and your family, I am sorry for your loss.

Your idea to do this with your nephew's help will keep her memory alive though both of you.

Both artwork pieces are extraordinary, unique.

Great idea for extra cash with what we have learned here. I'm still a new member but I'll get there.

Thank you for sharing with this post.

Patsy

You are welcome Patsy and thank you for your condolences. I definitely want her legacy to continue through her artwork.

I always knew she was talented but I never really got a chance to see all of the at least 80 different paintings she had done.

I was blown away at the diversity of what she painted. Now I will share it with the world, thanks to what I have gained here at WA.

Awesome post and condolences for your sister. Her artwork is amazing! Former HS AP art teacher & artist. Yes, the more I learn the more I see possibilities - thanks for the encouragement to us all.
Cj

You are welcome Cj. Always happy to spread some encouragement.
