Learning & Laughter 20 - Rise Up In Rank & Memorial Day
When it comes to creating anything of merit or value, rules need to be followed so that what is created works to the best of its ability. For example, if you do not place the targeted keyword of your website page or post within the title of that page or post, you will not rank that high.
If you do not place that targeted keyword within the first paragraph, preferably within the first 140 character spaces, again, you will not rank that high. And if you should use that same keyword more than 3 times within content up to 1000 words long, you risk having your rank lowered at each re-using of that same keyword.
These are all rules and guidelines we must follow if we want to see our content rank higher and higher in the search engines. This also applies to the WA rankings. If we perform well by being interactive within the community and helping others, our rankings will improve. Well the same is true in the military when it comes to following rules and guidelines so that the men and women in uniform can move up in rank.
MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND
Every last Monday in the month of May here in the United States is a national holiday called Memorial Day. Unlike Veterans Day where we only celebrate those who have already fought and served, Memorial Day is a day we honor all of our men and women in uniform both past and present.
I have friends in the military and my father was a decorated World War II veteran who was part of the force that liberated Italy. I wrote a blog with a video last year honoring him and those he fought with. If you wish to see it the link is below.

No matter what country you are from, remember to honor and say thank you to the men and women of your armed forces that have a difficult and dangerous job so that the rest of us can live in relative peace and security.

Oh yeah, plenty of time off. I'm currently unemployed...lol But this journey at WA is very important to me and feel it's pertinent to get my training and website off and running as soon as yesterday....lol
