Learning & Laughter 16 - Planning Ahead
I have always been someone who will plan ahead of time how I want things that I create to turn out. I did this with all of my websites...well actually websites #2 and #3. My first website was more of a trial and error endeavor but hey...it was my first website.
But now that I know how to effectively create a website here at Wealthy Affiliate, I plan things out ahead of me actually creating them. For me it is more time saving to create something and know that is how I want it to look going forward.
Though I will more than likely change a few features and colors, as well as update my content, for the most part I hardly ever make any major changes, like changing a theme. But this is just my personal approach because I feel that my content is more important than the theme for the purpose of rankings.
MAKE SURE TO PLAN AHEAD
But regardless if you follow my protocol for planning your website design or not, you should always plan ahead for how something will turn out. Make sure that the final product will best represent what you are trying to promote.
The last thing you want to do is to create a product, like that in the below picture, that is too much of an "adult oriented" design meant for children. WARNING: This is Rated R!
I find it hard to believe that Disney would have signed off on that design. What do you think? But then sometimes all the planning in the world is not going to help because of different meanings in the grammar from one country to the next.
Can you see yourself consuming any of these...uh...yummy snack products?
Even though all of the above are a result of language and grammar gone out of whack, there are times when people will plan ahead for a result to be...shall we say...the butt of a joke that turns out to be a unique item for the house of a hunter.
So remember, always plan ahead when creating something that others will use. Always remember what impression it will leave on those who use it.
HAVE A GREAT DAY EVERYONE! - I MUST GO AND PREPARE MY DINNER OF THE FOLLOWING DELICIOUS FISH.

Thanks for the humorous break, Robert. It's just what I needed before diving back into the fray.

It is amazing how language in one country when translated can be something so different in another. LOL
