How to Follow Other Members Outside of WA
Wealthy Affiliate is more than just the best online training community for anyone looking to start an internet affiliate marketing website from scratch. Many of us who have been here for more than a couple of years, have made friends with other members. And we interact with each other like we do with others on social media networks.
FOLLOW ME ON
The interactions we have with each other here within WA is very much like that of another social media network, just without the religious and political drama. But we all can follow any member we please and interact with the content we create here for the WA community.
Did you know that there is an area on our WA Profile screens where we can post the links to our social media accounts and/or websites? This gives all of us the opportunity to follow any member we wish outside the WA community either on social media like Facebook, Twitter and other networks and even through our websites.
WHERE TO FIND THIS ON YOUR PROFILE
To find this area on a member's WA Profile screen you first have to be following the member and that member following you back. Then you will need to scroll the profile screen down, and all the way at the bottom right side of the screen, under the profile picture is the section that says Follow Me On.
This area of your profile screen allows you to list 7 links and they can be to either social media networks, your websites, or both. As you can see in the image above, I have links to 4 of my websites and 3 links to my social media accounts on Facebook, Twitter, and Google+.
So if you wish to follow me on social media or view 4 of the 8 websites I have built here at WA, you can find those links there. And if you would like others to follow you, this is the one area on your profile screen to leave your links. The only links you do NOT want to post are any kind of affiliate links.

Question, I have one affiliate link on my profile, not on the follow me on section, it's going to Kiva, not a link where I gain anything with, it's a good aid organization. Is that allowed?
You are welcome Loes. I do not think it matters much if it is a link you do not gain anything from. However if others see the link they may think it is an affiliate link you are gaining from.
To be safe, if the link is not to your website, you may want to place a short disclaimer stating that you do not achieve any monetary gain from the link.
