Hello! I'm Mr. Spock! I Told Dr. McCoy To Remember
You are probably thinking, WTF!?! Maybe if you were an Original Star Trek Trekker or Trekkie, you'd know, "Remember" was right before Spock died saving the Enterprise at the end of Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan. I just watched that scene. I thought it would be good for this post.
The Vulcan Mind Meld
I WANT TO REMIND YOU ALL OF SOMETHING
To all of the new members of WA that joined in 2024, did you know that these WA blog posts we write here within the community, are indexed in Google? Do you know what that means?
It means if someone somewhere comes across your post while doing a search, and decides to join WA through that post, you will receive a referral credit to WA and may earn some income.
I have received many referrals that joined through my WA posts.. The majority were curiosity seekers or those looking for a get rich quick scheme. However I did get some from my WA blogs.
I haven't really promoted WA heavily since 2019, but from 2015 to 2018 I did. I received about 245 total referrals from my WA blog posts, resulting in 38 members upgrading to Premium.
Those Marked as Guest, came from my WA Blog Posts. 245 Referrals 38 Sales
This is the reason why many of my WA posts, where I hype up WA, are written in a tone geared towards non-members. I'm hoping to get a referral. I'll even share the link on social media.
Here's what I want you to "Remember." You can get people to join WA through your blogs by just sharing the regular link without adding your Affiliate ID. You get automatic credit as the author.
Example. If I want to get a referral to WA, from one of your WA posts, I would need to share the affiliate link for that post. That's your post link plus my Affiliate ID number. Okay, check this out!
If I want to get a referral to WA, from one of my own WA blog posts, I just need to copy the link and not have to use my Affiliate ID. As the author of the post, I get the referral credit regardless.
Why is this ideal? If you promote WA on your website, you could add a link to one of your WA posts and it wouldn't have to be another affiliate link on the page. Plus the entire link is shorter.
You will see what I mean in one of my upcoming WA blog posts about "Passive Income" that I've Saved as Draft to post later. If you have any comments or questions, please leave them below.

Great read Robert and a very important reminder here!!
Hope all is well with you my friend???
๐๐
Thank you Nick. Everyone is fine, even my sister who is down in the devastated area of Asheville, NC.. I'm going to be blogging about this in the near future and tie it into why having an affiliate marketing income can be a safety net. This is my mind at work. lol
Hi Robert!
Thanks for sharing!
Behind Star Trek 4: The Journey Home, the Wrath of Kahn is my second favorite in the series. Its reference to the original Star Trek TV series is cool.
I totally agree with you, Howard. Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home, is my favorite of all of the Star Trek movies. I have always liked it when they have an episode or a movie where they go back in time. Plus I love the look of the Klingon Bird of Prey ships and the cloaking device.
One of my favorite scenes in IV is near the end when the whale hunters are about to attack the whales and the airborne spear hits the cloaked ship, the ship uncloaks above them and the whale hunters freak out. LOL Those were some great movies. Nice to see another Star Trek fan.
Hi Robert!
I also love the comedic nature of that film and Spock with lines like, "Are you sure it isn't time for a colorful metaphor captain?" or Scotty with "up your shaft." ๐๐
Yes! The comedic value of that movie is fantastic too! LMAO! Or when Chekov was asking the traffic cop, in his heavy Russian accent, "Excuse me sir. Can you direct me to the naval base in Alameda? It's where they keep the nuclear vessels." LOL
Good to hear from you Robert enjoy your day and weeken
Great reminder that we can gain referrals this way the main thing to note is no need to place any affiliate links in the post
Thank you
Andre ๐๐๐
Youโre welcome Andre and I hope you and your family are doing well. Iโm going to start getting back into blogging here at WA again. Hopefully I can get some new referrals this way as I rework my old website.
Being that WA blog posts get indexed well within Google, I hope to utilize this along with the use of good keywords to help get exposure. Like Kyle said recently, SEO is not dead in the age of AI. Everyone is still using keywords in search.
Most welcome Robert and great to have onr of the greats back with us here
Agree SEO is not dead just evolved as it always has done from the early years and will continue to evolve with AI.
All is well here and hope the same with you.
Take care and will be great to read more of what you have to share with us and indeed those new outside of WA
Wishing you well
Andre
Thanks, Andre! Where I used to be popping in and popping out of WA, this time around I intend to pop in and stay in for a little longer. Being out of touch with the community here, has created gaps in my current knowledge.
With AI becoming more mainstream, I need to get my knowledge of it more fine tuned to its abilities and how it can benefit my going forward in the online world. What better place to learn this than here at WA. Maybe Iโll be an ambassador again.
Enjoy your weekend!
Yes a lot has changed for the better and I. Am sure you will be there as ambassador
Just stay away from mosquitos lol
