Google Servers Went Down Today - All Services Affected

If you have been having problems with Google Analytics, YouTube, Gmail, Google Cloud or any other Google service you are not alone.
According to a post I read, some Google servers in the U.S. and Canada went down today around 2:30 PM EDT. All Google products are affected to some degree.
I became aware when a YouTube video I was watching yesterday would not load. Then almost every other video I tried playing wouldn't load either.
I checked the embedded videos on my websites and they were disconnected and non functional too.
I then noticed a WA member asking about Google Analytics not working properly. So I checked mine and had problems too.
So I went to my favorite website called Down Detector to see if there were any reported issues and there was plenty.
The screenshots above and below are from the Down Detector website showing YouTube results (Top), the dates Google had server problems (Above), and comments on the Gmail results page (Below).
Down Detector is a free service where you can search many different online companies to see if their servers are down and/or having issues.
They do offer a more robust paid version for companies but I would not recommend that for anyone here at WA simply because it is not needed. The free version is perfect.
I do not know how long the Google server problems will last. They are getting better from earlier today and though people all over the world are affected, the issues are spotty.

I did notice YouTube it was slower than usual. This was before it went down. Thanks for sharing the news.
Luckily, Google Analytics seems to be fixed now! (At least I see it on my end, in the Toronto region).
It seems that services are starting to go back to normal, but I still have some minor issues with Gmail here in New Jersey. I haven't checked GA or GSC yet.

Yes I was just trying to use Google Search Console and while I could log in, I couldnt use any of the functions.
This makes sense - from Canada.
I have been trying to resolve some issues in my Google Console... kept answering the same thing. It seems it is not reading my corrections.
Anyway, if this is the case, I will probably just wait until Google is working well again.

I'm in Texas, and I have not gotten a new email since late yesterday.
I guess I can stop mentally cursing certain parties, since it all on Google :)
