Creating My New Affiliate Logo With DsgnPop
I finally got around to testing out the DsgnPop tool by specifically using more than one color hex code value for choosing my own color palettes when initially describing what I wanted the logo to look like. I initially told DsgnPop to make a circle logo with #038100 color letters and with a #FFC100 color background.
A couple of weeks ago I asked Kyle if DsgnPop could handle multiple color hex codes in the initial description of the logo or only one, seeing how the tool already offers its own color palettes. He said it should and for me to test it out. It seemed to work flawlessly for only two unique color hex codes, but for more?
Below are three logos I have created for my new Bootcamp website. The first one is my least favorite, the second one is better and the last one is my favorite of all three. Which one do you like? NOTE: The final logos do not have the boomergp08 watermark on them. I just added those to protect my creative designs.
NUMBER ONE

NUMBER TWO

NUMBER THREE

LOOK WHAT HAPPENED WHEN I BECAME MORE SPECIFIC
I decided to try 5 different unique color hex codes and the outcome was not good. The description below was what I told DsgnPop to create. It got some of my colors correct but not as I described them and it gave me white letters instead of dark green like I instructed. It also mis-spelled ENTREPRENEURS as ENTREPRENNEURS.
Create a circular logo with the words "SENIOR CITIZEN" curved along the top and "ENTREPRENEURS" curved along the bottom. Place the words between outer and inner circles. Make the letters and both the outer and inner circles be #038100 color and the background between the circles be #FFC100 color. Inside the inner circle make the background be #C3FF00 color and place a man and a woman with gray hair sitting in front of an open laptop computer. The man should have a light gray beard and the woman should be wearing glasses. Make the man's shirt #0000FF color and the woman's shirt #FF6700 color.
I wanted to see if the affiliate marketing logo for my new brand could be really unique. Here is the logo it created. Definitely NOT what I instructed it to be. NOTE: I didn't bother to put a watermark on this one as it is glitched on the spelling of entrepreneurs.

That's the conclusion of my test. Kyle, I hope you see this! Using only two different color hex codes in the initial logo description seems to work fine. Using up to five different color hex codes went totally wrong. No design tool is perfect but I still like DsgnPop. What do you think? Leave your comments below.

Great job, my pick would be the 4th? my reason being its better than the 3 above, the font size on the name is all the same while the background colors are more appealing to the drawing of the 2 seniors and the green background to the name provides the contrast to the white text for the name that really makes it stands out even more
Thank you Abraham. I can see your points. The white text does contrast well with the green background.
Interesting to see how you prompted DsgnPop. I hadn't thought of doing this.
Cool beans, Rob!

Thanks Teri! I wanted to see if the AI of DsgnPop could handle a specific set of instructions. It seems to do okay when those instructions are not too specific. I'm sure things will get better as the creative tool gets its next upgrade.
I used several attempts for my logo with DsgnPop too. I never thought of given it hex colours and chose different colour bundles, but that was a bit hit and miss. Eventually I took one that I liked and changed the colour in Canva.
But one thing I am glad about - thanks for sharing - is that you are using a circular logo. I have a circular logo too. I think Kyle suggested a square one - but I'd already created mine so I am keeping it.
When Kyle asked the community for feedback on these platform tools, I suggested that DsgnPop be as complete as possible in the customization process. I feel that being able to choose your own colors would be helpful so I wouldn't have to go elsewhere to change them.
Initially when I tried DsgnPop I did create a few square logos, but when I had seen others doing circles, I decided that I liked that better. Now that I have created these, I like the look much better. Thank you Isabella.
Yes, I prefer circular logos too. And I would like to decide my colours - I'll try hex codes another time and see what happens. Many thanks for that idea.
All good except the first one with dollar signs ($). However, are the fonts what your brand stand for or you haven't thought about that? If they are, you're good to go, and thanks for sharing your creative works.
Thanks John. Yes, that is what my brand is going to be about. It was my pleasure to share this. I wanted to get the communities opinion.
Yep, that's it then if this is the font you have chosen. Just make sure you use it for the texts on your website, email and other communications. It means consistency. Others might not notice it, but many will.
Happy publishing!
John

Hey Rob,
I like all three quite similarly, but you are right. The third one looks the best. However, this is not my style of logo, and would have made it a bit differently. I usually make my logos almost square, but with a slight rectangular shape running horizontally.. That way it takes up a bit more real estate horizontally and the menu does not appear too thick. That is just my preference.
That's fine, I thought of doing a square logo but I like the round kind for a few reasons.
1) It would fit perfectly in the circular area that people normally put a profile image of themselves on most social media platforms.
2) It would also fit well in the circular space for a Gravatar
3) Though a square or any shaped image can be used, a round logo can also be used to further advertise the brand as my website Favicon.
4) Many people do a square, but I want to be different and stand out.
Well, these are really good reasons to go with the round one then. My logos are mostly square and they also fit right into the circular spaces on social media.
I don't think there is a right or wrong shape to a logo. It basically comes down to a personal choice.
I totally agree. I hope you're having a marvellous and prosperous week further!
Thank you Hein and Happy Birthday!
Thank you very much, although it was really small... she made it worth it for me! 😃
