Here are some quotations that essentially mean the same thing:

All things are created twice, first mentally, then physically. The key to creativity is to begin with the end in mind, with a vision and a blueprint of the desired result. --Stephen Covey

I saw the angel in the marble and carved until I set him free. --Michelangelo

Unless you know and can see in your mind's eye what you're going to achieve, you won't achieve anything. --BooBish

In other words, you can't create something out of nothing!

I had mentioned before that my goal is to make $500 during one month this year. I spelled it out with a plan. Now I just need to visualize it regularly. I will meditate on it.

One form of meditation is focusing on one thing and nothing else, such as the breath.

Instead of the breath, I can meditate on my goal--sit still for 10 minutes, and focus on my goal, picture making a sale just about every day, getting plenty of subscribers from my free ebook, actually seeing myself write the ebook as well as already written it, people leaving messages on the forum of my website, having created content that makes me feel fulfilled when I think about it, seeing myself perform all actions necessary for website, seeing comments from people saying how my website has helped them, and last but not least, seeing my PayPal account rise to the amount of around $500.

I sort of thought about my goal today, but I have yet to focus on it for 10 minutes every day.

I'm sure it will make a BIG difference put into practice on a daily consistent basis.

Great approach Jean. First spiritually then corporally. Visalize it in your mind then fill in the blanks with action!

Thanks, Mike. Yes, that seems to be the way all things work whether we're consciously aware of it or not. To achieve a goal, it seems we just need to adjust our mind in the direction we want to go!

visualisation is the key to success. If you go back in ancient history, you can see on all the drawings without visualisation no success

Yes, cave paintings apparently showed scenes of what they visualized in order to survive. Visualizing seems as intrinsic to being human as breathing, and just like breathing we may not be aware of it.

Good process...one I'm going to start using. Visualization is very powerful. Thanks. Debbie

Yes, seeing (in the mind's eye) is believing, and actions naturally follow the course of one's thinking.:-)
