Google Online Timer (and Stopwatch)

Did you know Google even has a timer/stopwatch?

I've only used the timer so far. However, I think the stopwatch should be handy for measuring speed while doing speed reading exercises.

I actually didn't even notice the stopwatch function until today. The timer function is the one that works by default and is on the left side whereas the stopwatch is on the right side and has to be clicked on to switch it on.

Anyhow, I discovered this timer/stopwatch only the day before yesterday.

All I had to do was type "online timer" in Google and it appeared at top of SERP.

It's very simple to use and I find it helps me stick to my planned schedule more.

I've been using this timer the past few days timing myself to see how much I can make with Amazon Mechanical Turk per hour (now up to $5/hour, which is actually big improvement from when I began 2 months ago).

Also helpful for staying on track with how much time put in working at website/Wealthy Affiliate training.

I find setting a timer for 1 hour or maybe 45 minutes (and then taking 15-minute breaks) keeps me more focused.

Update: Although I typed "online timer" into Google originally, I discovered just a moment ago that you can more simply type "timer" into Google, and the Google timer/stopwatch will also turn up at top of SERP.

Didn’t know about this Google feature. Thanks!

Sure.

Sounds like the one that makes the interior speakers on your computer ring!

Also sounds like a clock radio alarm clock I had. :-)

Aha! This is an excellent tip! I sometimes will use the "timer" in Google Keep. I keep lots of notes and reminders there and several lists too. I just discovered the timer yesterday.

Uh-huh. Google Keep? What's that?

It's an app. Check it out. It works on every device and what you change on one device, changes it across all of them. I don't know if I should post the link here. Just do a Google search for it.

All right, I'll just Google it. Thanks.

Good tip...thanks.
Debbie
