A Done Deal Part B

In Jay's webinar "The Fundamental Foundation of Online Success In 2017", he mentions the following quote in terms of having a well-thought-out plan, which hits the nail on the head:

"Every battle is won before it's ever fought." --Sun Tzu (The Art Of War)

To ensure it's foolproof, I felt I needed to add on some additional touches to my other post "A Done Deal"; hence, this is Part B.

Whereas the other part ("A Done Deal") is what one might call a macro view, this Part B is a micro view of how to get things done.

First of all, I decided on a 20-hour workweek. It could be either 4 hours 5 days a week, or 3 hours 7 days a week; I decided to go with the latter.

I decided to cut the 3 hours working each day into 2 segments, i.e. work 1.5 hours and then take a 30-minute break before working another 1.5 hours.

In terms of what to do during the working hours: First, I decided when I'll publish 2 posts on website a week, which is every Tuesday and Friday.

With that determined, the days of the week are as follows:

  • Monday:
Live Video Class or Certification Training or other Training--1.5 hr
    Research to write content--1.5 hr
  • Tuesday:
Write outline and rough draft--1.5 hr
    Write post and publish--1.5 hr
  • Wednesday:
    Niche learning--1.5 hr
    Research to write content--1.5 hr
  • Thursday
    Niche learning--1.5 hr
    Research to write content--1.5 hr
  • Friday
Write outline and rough draft--1.5 hr
    Write post and publish--1.5 hr
  • Saturday
Live Video Class or Certification Training or other Training--1.5 hr
    Research to write content--1.5 hr
  • Sunday
    Niche learning--1.5 hr
    Research to write content--1.5 hr

This is what I think will work for me for right now and for a good number of months. However, it is subject to change; for example, I can probably slightly reduce the amount of time on niche learning (or learning about my niche) as well as researching to write content once I am more knowledgeable on the niche. Still, learning and hence becoming an authority on the niche is one of the most important aspects.

Anyway, I don't think I have any screws that might come loose, as I believe I've now covered everything. Everything should work as long as I think of it as a done deal or see the battle as already won.
