You cannot downgrade, but you will be able to resubscribe to your Premium account at any time and reconnect your membership (when you can make it back). ;)

If you need to cancel you can do so through the following link:

We also host your website for 30 days beyond the cut off date, which gives you time to still work on it or move it to another host in the meantime.

Hope this clarifies for you James!

Hello Kyle and Carson, all of my permalinks have gotten messed up, and I can't seem to get them fixed. I have tried everything that anyone has suggested and they are still messed up. When I try to view my post's, they can't be found. I have spent a lot of time on this site and something seems to always be going wrong, therefore I am deleting my site for the simple reason, that I have too much going wrong. I will not be renewing my membership this next time. I don't have a gripe against WA, I think it is a problem with WordPress. I may come back sometime in the future when I can do some more research and take a different approach. Thank you both for the opportunity to learn.

May God Bless You and Wealthy Affiliate Community.

There are certainly limits to what you do can within a WA Blog. The reason for not having an option to change font size or color in your text is because I think the goal was to keep everything looking the same...consistent look and feel to the WA platform.

Yes, you can delete the hello world post and replace it with one of your own.

SiteRubix is a subdomain that is available for you to create a free site. If you're just getting started, this is a good place to start. You can however purchase your own domain start with that if you'd like.

Hi James. As a premium member, hosting up to 25 of your own websites is included. If you have a siterubix site and want to change it to own your own domain, then you need to go to a domain registrar like namecheap and purchase your own domain.

There is training here on how to change the DNS to point your domain to WA so that it can be hosted here. No need to pay namecheap to host your site when it is included with your WA membership.

Here is the best training video we have for you to use when buying your own domain:

Do i need to put keywords in my WA review?
Reply
steveo5770 Premium
You will likely use WA related keywords in your review but I wouldn't worry too much about it in this case. Most of the WA reviews in the top spots are occupied by members with high ranking sites and it'll be tough to get your site there. However, you will be creating many links within your website leading to your WA review and that's how your visitors will find it.

If I upgrade my WordPress will I lose my pages that are already published? My reason for asking this is I don't have a tool in draft to change the font size. I read about some compatibility problems with the new version of TinyMCE. I use is it my Web projects too, it is a very powerful editor.

Be careful, if you upgrade your WordPress version you can lose content and drafts etc... make a saved copy of your text in a word document on your computer.

there should be older tinyMCE versions around that are fitting to the WordPress 4.4 ....

James you can change the font size with code.
<FONT SIZE=”4“> This letters are size 4</FONT>
Just put your text between where it says"This letters are size 4"
And change the number 4 to what you want.

That is the simplest code.
Reply
LifeWorld Premium
you could do that ... true.. step up the numbers normal web-font-sizes are 8-10 and 12-14 depending on your device... headings can have up to 48
Reply

addon - keep straight numbers 2-4-6-8 etc.... because the others can loose clarity and sharpness in zooms or smaller devices...

Kyle has looked at my pages and said he liked the layout and the direction that I am going, but I am getting conflicting info from different people in WA. I don't have any post's yet. All my content pages are published as pages and I am not sure if I am heading in the right direction or not. Kyle told me from now forward to publish all my content as post's.
I have written a review on WA, but have not published it yet, because I am not sure if my other pages are O.K. or not. Would you look at my pages and tell me if they are correct or not. Google shows that my pages are ranked. Here is my Link-. http://mywalkingshoes.siterubix.com/

You have a good start to your site. I agree with Kyle, what is going to get your site going is posts, not pages. I always post first and create pages to do follow up work on the post. This way I can link from the post to the page and vice versa, this gives you extra SEO juice within your site.
On your "My Walking Shoes" page I found your privacy policy at the end. This needs to be on a separate stand alone page. I would move it there.
Keep with the training James, many of your questions will get answered along the way. Study it, master and keep asking questions along the way. Try not to get ahead of yourself though.

You put it in quotes and add their name somewhere in the text as it belongs to them. It is the same in any article, book or magazine, if you quote a source you must give credit to the source within the body or bibliography of the work.

Yes posting and publishing are the same thing. Publishing makes your article appear on your website (Publish button). When you are not ready to publish it, you should be saving it in draft form (Save Draft button).

It's peculiar why you were told to remove the About Me page from your top menu. This information is highly searched by your readers. Before your visitors buy from you, they want to know who you are.

Here is a video from Kyle about the About Me page. The Privacy Policy is legal information which can be placed elsewhere. It won't be read by many people but you need it for legal reasons, so what you were told was correct about it.

It appears that you want a blog roll as your homepage but it's not a technically a blog roll.

Here is a tutorial on how to set up a blog roll. Good luck!

A few things here:

(1) Avoid overuse of bold within your content. Bold text is very difficult to read and I would avoid using it at all if you can. When you bold something, it's intended purpose is to stand out from the rest of your text and it should be used very sparingly.

Ex. http://mywalkingshoes.siterubix.com/

(2) I recommend that you use more visuals within your content. Most people are visual by nature and when you create content, you should have associated images that reflect what you are talking about.

This will lead to more engagement, a higher reader rate, and as a result, more conversions.

(3) Target keywords within every page or post.

Each page or post on your website should have a keyword focal point. Keywords are what lead to rankings and what lead to traffic. So when you are looking to come up with an idea for a new post, do some keyword research and find a phrase that is related to your niche.

As you build out your content and start getting rankings under these terms, you will see your traffic (and revenue) cumulatively grow. Just know that not every page will rank, but over time a good percentage will. The game of numbers!

Overall off and running here though and heading in the right direction, I would just consider these changes as you do move forward.

Hey Kyle
Thanks for the response. I do have three (Curious Questions).1. If someone decides not to continue premium membership, then how would you be able to make money online anyway? 2. Would you be able to keep the training active in phase one? 3. Would you be able to even keep the two websites at all. I know this is a lot to be asking, but you did say that the only bad question is the one you don't ask. I know that I will never turn this into a full time business since I am retired, I don't want to work full time. Thanks for being so nice to answer my questions.

You cannot downgrade, but you will be able to resubscribe to your Premium account at any time and reconnect your membership (when you can make it back). ;)

We also host your website for 30 days beyond the cut off date, which gives you time to still work on it or move it to another host in the meantime.

You can absolutely achieve a good deal of success at this if you stick with it and you give yourself time to achieve it. Believe in yourself and your capabilities James, you have a lot of potential!

Hope this clarifies for you James!

I received info from someone that said I should remove the Privacy Policy Page, and About Me Page from my Home Page. I did what I thought was the right way, and the Titles were moved from the Header, but the content is still on my Front Page. Could you explain and help me with this? Hey Kyle
How do I do a review on WA, do I add a new page like all my other content pages and publish it? I am still a little confused as to whether posts and publishing pages are all one in the same. I get different views from different people within WA. Please clarify this for me. I am not sure if I am getting this all done right or not.
Thanks
James

Add it as a "post" so it goes to your blog roll. But yeah, you create it in the same way you do any other page and if you want me to review it after you publish it, simply share the link with me and I will be happy to have a look. ;)

Thanks Kyle for the info. I do have another question. How far into training does one have to go before being able to post links, like for Amazon? I have gone through getting your website organized, created the three pages, About me, Getting started, Privacy policy, and creating a new user name with WordPress> Can you help me with this?
Thanks
James

Yeah, it will definitely be covered in detail in Level 3 of the training and Amazon links are used as one of the examples, so definitely coverage on that topic there.

Sounds like you are making some good progress and I recommend that you continue going through the training as this is all going to be covered in more detail as you do move forward. ;)

Hey Kyle
I have several questions.
1. How does writing an article on a certain category generate money online?
2. Does the article have to be long like the one you wrote as an example on building a website?
3. How do you promote WA via E-Mail, when the link is not alive in the E-Mail?
4. Do you have to go through this whole process every time that you create a website? If so, then one would have to work full time and then some, wouldn't you?
Sorry to bother you with so many questions, but you do stress asking questions. I tried sending these through private message, and it kept telling me to enter a valid recipient name. I used the name Kyle, but still got the same message.

Thanks so much
James

Sure, no problem James. In response to your questions here:

1. How does writing an article on a certain category generate money online?

It targets a keyword, it gets ranked in Google and other search engines, it gets traffic...which leads to opportunity.

2. Does the article have to be long like the one you wrote as an example on building a website?

Ideally you want to be thorough, I usually recommend over 1,000 words but every page/post you create will vary. Write until you get your point across, some will be shorter than 1,000 some will be longer.

3. How do you promote WA via E-Mail, when the link is not alive in the E-Mail?

It depends on the email client you are using, most email clients will make it a link but it really depends. If it is not a link, then they will copy and paste it into their browser and you will still get credit.

4. Do you have to go through this whole process every time that you create a website? If so, then one would have to work full time and then some, wouldn't you?

It only takes ONE website to be very successful online, but yeah there is a specific process that you need to follow when building out a business. I would recommend that you focus on building out one business before you consider getting involved in multiple.

Thanks for the Info. It will help me a lot. I do have another question.
I have started writing a content article for one of the three themes. My article is about Running Shoes. My question is, Would it be appropriate and lawful to mention Brand Names in my article? I just want to try to get it right.

Hey Kyle
I do have an important question. In your lesson 4 of 10 building three themes for website, you said themes should be geared to our specific web site. Your website was avoiding scams online, but one of your themes was Building a Website. This doesn't seem to be in relation to avoiding scams online. Say if my website is about Shoes, I thought all three of my themes should be about shoes. I'm somewhat confused. Can you clarify this for me, so I can move on?
Thanks
James
Reply
Kyle Premium
Yeah, it is an aspect of building a business online though. Your themes can be anything relating to your business and I would recommend that you choose based on this...I do evolve my menu through time and as you I build out my website.

Hey James,

I forgot to mention the other day that I am going to still be offering you my awesome bonuses if you join within the next 4 days.

Here are the bonuses that you are going to be getting:

(1) You are going to get a 59% discount on your first month Premium membership (only $19)
(2) You are going to get personal and private access to me! If you ever have a question or need help with your campaigns, I will be there. Where else can you access the CEO of the company for help?
(3) I am going to be giving you my "Diamond Traffic Bonus". This is going to show you how I walk into absolutely any niche and get unlimited traffic.

But only if you join in the next 4 days (this is what I call my "action takers" bonus).

Anyways, just wanted to mention this. Hope your training is going well James and Reply to this if you do have any “pending” questions. :)

I have my two websites up, and I have set up an Amazon Associates account. Could you help me learn how to post links to my website from Amazon, and will they be live on the seo's?
Thanks
James
Reply
Kyle Premium
You will get there as you go through the training, the first focus with your website is to build out the foundation, the content and get rankings. Once you have rankings and traffic then you can focus on what you are going to promote.

There is no sense in putting to much thought into what you are going to promote until you have content in place and an audience to promote to. You will definitely get there though!

PS. If you do want to work ahead here is some training on adding affiliate links:

This industry was new to everyone at one point, myself included. Back when I started I had no knowledge of the Internet business and this. As you move forward, you will get the hang of this and things that you are overwhelmed with by now, will become second nature.

You can learn this and I can assure that everything you need is here at WA to create any level of success you want! I really do look forward to seeing you progress as you move forward James! Let me know if you need a hand if you ever feel even a bit stuck.

Hey Kyle
Hope you are having a good day. I have a couple of questions.
1. Do I need a EIN tax ID for wealthy affiliate, or an affiliate program with a company? 2. If and when I become a premium member, is web hosting included in all the other websites with premium membership? I understand that one would own these websites in premium membership. Please explain this for me. It is not clear in boot camp.
Please explain web hosting. I know this is asking a lot, but I want to learn what I am doing.
Thanks

You do not need a tax ID no, some affiliate programs will ask for them for US folks, but most of the time it will be optional and you can put N/A within these fields.

Web hosting (state of the art) is included within your Premium membership. You can host up to 25 of your own sites and 25 free websites (on siterubix) for a total of 50.

Here is some perspective on the hosting quality you get here at WA:

I watched the video on how to find your niche at the link I was given.
Google blocked the entrance and said the site contained spyware.
Can you help me, and since I am not a premium member, I can't find
anything in the boot camp that tells you how to hook up with company's to link their products. Can you explain? I seem to be at a standstill.
