is this a good timeframe that ranking?
Thank You everyone! I checked today and I'm #24. .Adding stuff to my etsy page page today and then too my website..............Really enjoying this, maybe to much lol :)
Hey Bonnie,
Yes this is great! When your website is new it takes some time for Google to find it, then it needs to determine if your site is helpful and offers people a good experience when they visit.
The more content you add, the more popular you will be in the eye of Google and it will start ranking you higher.
Ranking on page 3 in just 3 weeks after starting is AWESOME..
You are well on your way to 2nd and 1st page rankings :)
Carson
thank you ! this is so much fun....... def going to be here @ WA for the long haul, I'm learning so much!
name of my site is www.howtomakehomemadebeads.com. Today I did an article and the keywords I used were how to use color when making homemade beads. I think it had to do with the new article because yesterday i had nothing and today I focused on getting that first paragraph using some good keywords
You got a really nice site there :)
Ok, I was looking at it in SEO Serp at google chrome, and there it is on the 62 Place same as 7 page, I will not be bad but did you logout from G+ first so that will not infect of the search ?
You can get SEO serp for chrome here https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/seo-serp/ofoaoaloeipdofknnaapbmdddddioklg
Best regards
Thomas
If you compare to a post I made here on WA that was 2nd place on google in 30 min it's not, but it's all relative. I would say just be happy with your success and look at how if at all you can improve it.
hmm, interesting thats why the constant posting and content then. Seems even a day away can take your rankings down then until you get established if thats the case. Thanks
Hello Bonnie, I guess page three is a good thing considering the time is only three weeks out there, well done. Page three has another meaning here in the UK it refers to a page in one of our tabloids that has pictures of topless glamour models. I hope nobody misconstrues your title.... I'm on page 3.. lol

I live in Wales for about 3 years, Page 3 was definitely a change of pace from American newspapers ;)

That's interesting. It sounds like WordPress wants to crack down on the scammers and have only content rich sites with legit affiliates. They may not like the looks of some affiliate links and block them. I had a similar experience with Twitter questioning a link so I went to bit.ly and shortened it. Go figure.

@tryingtraditional if you have a real blog with real content and real readers, we don't mind the occasional affiliate link to a reputable store (Amazon being the textbook example).
The things that we absolutely don't permit are: banner ads; MLM/network marketing/get rich schemes; fake blogs; and spam of any kind (i.e. unwanted bulk comments/blogs/posts/emails).
"real blog" is the key. Staff are willing to cut you some slack you have a real blog. If you're not sure, contact support and ask - they won't bite.
I have not had any issues with this subject. Perhaps this training that Kyle does using the pretty links would help you get through this: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/wa-affiliate-bootcamp-content-keywords-and-conversions/properly-using-affiliate-links
I agree James, as I stated above WP has always had a strict policy on Affiliate links . I think it was mainly to knuckle out those ones that just promote promote promote and never add value just push crapping money making ops that are plain shams,.
Bonnie, that is a distinct possibility. Great share on the blocks that WP has with certain sites/blogs. I understand that, but then that brings to question about the affiliate link you are using.... Is it an outside source? Is it legitimate? Do you know? I think sometimes it is not always what they promise (like Clicksure is an example). Just my thoughts. Someone else might have more on this.... Terri
my issue was totally with a hijacked browser! my firefox got overtaken by a malicious something. started seeing all sorts of wacked out links on my site. in the end figured out was just withing firefox and ran spyware, uninstalled crap from system and uninstalled firefox.
