Duh! I finally get it!
Stalled...
For the last two weeks I have been stalled out and stuck on what else to put on my WA promoting website, since I am following the Bootcamp training. I don't like to move on to the next lesson unless I have completed each training lesson and follow it exactly...so when I am told to write another post...I do. Problem is, I have been stuck on what to write. I had no idea in what direction to take my website as far as the content to put on it.
My Epiphany...
I was just sitting helping my daughter with homework and suddenly like someone was talking to me...it hit me!! Write about what I know...ME and MY LIFE!! In other words my gut feelings about things in life that move me. My love for my wife and daughter and why I am doing this...just blog about the things I love, what I am not able to do now...and what I plan to do...my anguish of having to cut corners to make ends meet...then how WA and my business will break me out of that...
What took so long?
That is a good question...I know it was bugging me this morning as I was trying to pay some bills with the little bit that is left in our checking account. It didn't hit me then, but later after I had some sleep and was sitting with my daughter. Something triggered it, I have no idea what, but glad it did...
Time to get moving...
So, now is the time to move on up and get my butt in gear. The realization that it is my website and I can do whatever I want with it, was what hit me...I remember being anguished this morning and putting up a little prayer...and maybe that is where the answer to my prayer came from...DO YOUR OWN THING!!!
So, now that I have my marching orders...TIME TO GET A MOVE ON!!!
Now, I know what will motivate me...what motivates you??

Yup, same here, sometimes you just need to take a break, then without realizing it, it just seems to come out of nowhere! Anytime I get a block, I stop, take a break, clear my head, and almost magically the ideas come rolling in.

That happens to me sometimes. It’s just that this time I had no idea what direction I was even going to take my website. Then, like I said in my post, it all of a sudden hit me. Thanks for your input. ;-)

Oh, you don't have to worry about me rushing it...lol!! I joined WA in July and am only on Phase 2 lesson 1... so, I am definitely not rushing this... :-)

Spot on, Robert. The only way you can compete with others with more experience is by being yourself and talk about your path through life.
It is by doing this way that you will attract a following of like-minded people and not people who have no interest in who you are or what you do. Simple, but true!
Thanks Paul, I have also come to a realization since this post is that I have to some how find the right mix of talking about me and what I want and what the visitors of my site want also. Finding that right mix is the difficult part of it.
