thanks Triblu .... but let me tell you the user experience ..... I went to Site Support .... if you open a ticket like you suggest, and say this is about a website, you don't get past step two because there are no websites that are active for them to work on ..... if you select "no", not a website issue, you get redirected back to the smart people like you in the general discussion. Abie got me there and both sites are coming up ... thanks for taking the time to assist and I hope this helps in the future
Create a SiteRubix website quickly... and USE that in Question 2...
Question 1: Yes
Question 2: [pick the SiteRubix website you just created.
Question 3: Other
Question 4: Explain that the site you selected is NOT the one you are inquiring about, but rather [insert the site(s) domain name that you want restored] explaining that you have updated your membership and noticed your site(s) missing.
Then click the Send button.
Best work around... and... it works.

I let my membership with WA lapse, and I have two websites that need to be brought back up and running. I did this a couple of years ago too, and you all graciously brought th
as Tai says you will need ot contact sitesupport - as long as you kept up with the domain payments you still own them ...if not you will need to see if they are available....
sitesupport may not have a copy of your sites after all this time - they normally keep them for 6 months - but worth trying anyway ...
if you took a backup then once you have the domains then you can get support to restore them...

Any yes it is on the homepage as well ... so I requested comments from the training, level 2 part 7 I think, and nobody can leave comments because it doesn't come up on my posts... so do I have to get the posts off of my homepage?

If you have been following the training: Creating Your Initial Website Content you would have your About information on a page.
If you skip lessons, you will only get yourself frustrated by making major mistakes.
Also, you need to offer posts (not pages) to get comments.
Here's tutorial to help you understand the difference: Static Pages and Blog Rolls Here's a tutorial to show you how to make sure that you have enabled comments on your posts: Enable or Disable Comments on Posts and Pages Hope this helps you.
Are you referring to your homepage, pages or posts? If you are on your homepage, you won't have any comments there. Often times themes don't allow for comments on pages either.
All POSTS should allow for comments and have a comments section on it. If you want to point us to a specific URL on your website where you do not have comments, let us know and we will be more than happy to give you a hand. :)

Ok I'm just getting started. I have 2 blogs (setup as posts) and the privacy page (setup as a page). I chose twenty seventeen as the theme. It places those two posts on the very first home page in its entirety, so therefore no comments. So I looked at other themes and they just give you the first paragraph, then you hit the "read more" than it takes you to the next locations which is off the home page and has comments there.
So how do you get the first 2 posts off the home page? I am going to setup a training on this as I got to believe there are many of us, just starting the training, we get here, we don't have much content, the theme puts it on the home page, and we are screwed. And I still just get "yes this is the problem" versus is there a switch that moves the posts, is there way to tell a theme to move them, are each themes different than how do I query the theme, how do I solve this problem?!?!? Please don't answer with an admiration for the problem and more insights as to what the problem is.
I am really frustrated, as I want to advance in the training and no one can give me comments to advance in the training because the theme I chose is doing something goofy.
