You need to switch over to Text when adding a code. Then you can go back to Visual, view post to make sure it looks good then you can save it. The Visual and Text tabs or on the right top of your blog page under the title.
Thanks for the response. So I switched to text, highlighted the word I wanted to link then copied the affiliate url into the url box. Under the visual tab it ends up looking something like " target="_blank">whatever words are linked. Then if I go to preview and click on the link it opens a "page cannot be reached."
Are you trying to just add a link to the name of a product or trying to add the full Text and Image code?
Basically what I'm doing is highlighting a word, then clicking on the link button, and pasting the super long html affiliate code into the little box. That seems to work for non-affiliate links, even in visual mode. But it doesn't work for affiliate generated links. I'm guessing that ideally, you would want to have some sort of side bar column with the product links and thumbnail images, as opposed to just sneaking an in text hyperlink right into the paragraph. Probably better for professionalism? Not sure. I'm still working my way through the videos so perhaps I haven't gotten to it yet. Just figured I'd add the product links as I'm filling out the content. Thanks again.

I think they've already helped you with this one, but that's right you just switch from visual to text view. :-) The text view you can paste in live html code. Good luck, Susan :-)

My original account has my picture and everything but I just registered a domain and upgraded to premium and now my profile is empty. Can I just transfer everything over?
