I have often found that I come across great affiliate programs that I would like to promote, there's usually just one problem. How do I create great content around that product

Why would you like to promote them? What is it about those particular programs that is calling to you?

I would guess it's because you have some sort of passion about the subject. If it's kids' clothes, or toys, or cooking or sports . . . there's something that's causing you to linger over certain products or categories of products. And it's probably something you already know about.

You may have expertise in areas that you don't even realize. And it's that combination of expertise and passion that makes for good writing.

Here's an experiment: Take one of those products you've found yourself attracted to. Look at pictures. Think about it. Then answer these questions:

What specifically do I like about this product?
How is this product used?
If I had this product, how would *I* use it? (A slightly different question)
How does this product make my life easier or better?
Is there anything you would change about this product?

I'll bet you could answer all of these questions and more. And that's all it takes! Just do it a few times. Imagine yourself talking to a close friend and re-create that conversation, but on paper. You can clean up spelling and punctuation later, but get your ideas down.

Another tip - read everything about your niche. Being a good reader creates a good writer - I guarantee it!

Donco6, that was very well put, simple but elegant. Thank you for that answer.

I am not a writer either most affiliates are not writers just try to think what do you readers want to know about and just give them solutions to their problems in your content
You do not need to be Shakespeare just an ordinary person we can all write, don't worry about it being perfect people don't want perfect they just want solutions
Add value to the lives of the people that come to your site and that's all you need to do

my writing is bad but succinct.......all those reports I wrote at the hospital are not helping........sigh. Will persist and hopefully some things will be created.
