Which email system should I use for nail appraisal & new posts?
Hi everyone, I have not yet begun to build my email list, so here goes..I have an idea that I would like to get people to sign up for their very own nail appraisal. It seems that there are a lot of woman looking at trying to get their natural nails back into shape after wearing acrylics, gels and shellacs, etc. I do get many private emails from woman asking me questions about their nails, so I thought what about I set up a sign up box with me offering a nail appraisal plus information and all the latest posts?
Would love some feedback on that idea, and I have watched Jay's Wabinar, but still confused which email system would be better for me?
Any suggestions or advice would be welcomed, thank you :)

HI, according to me Aweber is the best, but I changed over to mailchimp, because if you don't generate $20 per month to pay for Aweber then you have to pay for it out of your own pocket.
MadMimi is also nice, but you can't even send an ebook before you start paying, where with mailchimp, you just can't do autoresponders if you don't pay yet, but you can send an ebook with your initial signup.
How will you do these nail appraisals? Will they have to contact you with certain info or is it a general suggestion about nails?

Hi Linda, thank you so much for your feedback here, I am really confused. I really want to get people to email me and even if possible a picture of their nails so I can help them but have no idea how to set this up, I know it would be successful because this is already happening but through my website address.....accept it gets caught up in all the spam...trying to figure out a way to separate it as well as get email list :)
I forgot about getresponse, with them you get a 30 trial and then thereafter it is $150. They also give you a course than you can finish in 90 or more days where they then share with you videos and pdf's. Have you ever taken a look at email marketers?
The next question will be, can you afford to pay monthly?
If you don't want to pay before you've got at least 2000 subscribers, mailchimp will be your best choice, otherwise, I would suggest going with getresponse or AWeber.
The best would be to setup your subscriber form (inside mailchimp,getresponse or Aweber), telling your readers when they subscribe they will receive a free nail appraisal from a photograph they send you.When you initially set up your first reply email, you set it to send out a first email to your subscriber as soon as they opted in. In that email you can ask them to reply to that email with a photograph. When they reply, you will receive it inside your mailchimp (or whichever one you chose).

I think that is a great idea. I have set up a free mail chimp account for now. I even wrote a free e-book as a giveaway but so far nobody has signed up.

Thanks! I have to admit I didn't do it fully on my own. It was a PLR book. However, I made quite a few changes and added an intro and bonus section at the end. It was a good way to get started without completely writing the book myself.
