No Data Showing In My Webmasters Tools For Certain Things
Hi there, I am just going through one of Jays tutorials, about Webmaster Tools.
1. First of all I have this message there which I don't understand, can anyone help me with this please :)
Your site http://www.blubutterflynailtips.com/ is now linked to a Google Analytics web property.
November 13, 2014Your Webmaster Tools site http://www.blubutterflynailtips.com/ is now linked with a Google Analytics web property. If this is unexpected, it could be because another site owner has created or changed the link in Webmaster Tools.
More information about Webmaster Tools and Google Analytics.
2. When I go into Index Status in Webmasters to see what URL's have been indexed the total is 0?
3. Content Keyword - NO DATA
4. I know of 2 definite links to my site, but Webmasters is telling me there is none?
I would really appreciate some help from someone please, thank you :)

Greetings Justine -
If you login to Google Webmaster Tools (aka Google Search Console) at https://goo.gl/D3sl and click on your site name, you'll be taken to your site's dashboard. Click on Crawl > Sitemaps in the left sidebar, and you'll be able to see if Google recognizes your site map. You should see the number of pages and images that Google has indexed there, as well as the name of your sitemap(s) as found by the Googlebot. Keep this tab open for a moment.
Go back to your SEO plugin and make sure it's set to generate and submit the sitemap. It looks like the sitemap Colin (BlueDot) has linked in his response was generated by a plugin, but just double check.
If everything looks OK (your SEO plugin is set to generate a site map), go back to the Google sitemap tab, click on the name of the sitemap, then click Resubmit.
Google will re-crawl your website based on the links in your sitemap, and (hopefully) all will be well.
Best of luck with it!
Dennis
Thanks so much Dennis will check all of this today after finished work, and will get back to you, have a great day :)
Hi Dennis, Ok I went into SEO, then into XML Sitemap, I clicked (enable sitemap indexes), is that right? Then went back to webmasters and clicked on sitemap, and resubmitted. Nothing changed, yet...did I do the right thing in SEO Plug in area.
Just give it a little time now Justine. Google will send its bot sniffing around again, looking for your site map. Log back into Google Webmaster tools tomorrow and see if your pages and images have been indexed.
Have a good night!
Dennis
My apologies Justine - that should have done the trick for you.
Perhaps there is a gremlin at work on your site! My next suggestion is to see if support can take a look at your site and sort out why your pages and images aren't being indexed by Google.
I wish I had more to suggest...
Dennis
Hi Dennis, it is saying that 3/4 of my site is indexed, but when I go into look at data, there is no data available? I might check with support, thanks Dennis
Hi Justine if you add /sitemap.xml at the end of your domain, you will see all the pages from your site being indexed based on your changes or updates http://blubutterflynailtips.com/sitemap.xml
There have been changes to some of the data reporting within GA and I know that the Keyword Data does not display.
When I find more info I will let you know - but for now your pages are indexing within Google as per sitemap inclusion.
Colin
