I Would Love To Hear How Many Stay At Home Moms Are Educating Themselves Here At Wealthy Affiliate?
Hi everyone, I just wanted to start a discussion that I can share with my visitors within this community just to give them a good idea of how many stay at home moms are building their empires with the training here at Wealthy Affiliate.
Any feedback, success stories, any stories in fact would be awesome and very much appreciated.

I'm a stay at home DAD. We have 4 kids aged 3 - 10, so they're just starting to get that much older. I have learned a lot but just not had the time to really do a proper job and so while I have some some sites up - I just don't have the time to do what needs to be done. My wife has a very responsible job in the hospital and so her needs and the needs of the kids always come first - WA and the Internet Business slide down the priority list and the income is not essential although would be nice of course.
However, from next week - my 3 year old, turns 4 and will now be at pre-school 3 days a week and this will give me a lot more time to concentrate on my internet business. I expect to see good results over the coming months :)!
The key for me over the next few years is building a business that is both flexible and profitable - and I still believe the internet and WA hold the key.

Hi Richard, I am so pleased that you have stuck with it, this truly is the best training available online for success. Sounds like you have had your hands full, my girls are older now too, both at school so this gives me loads of time and I have given up my favorite tv shows ie: CSI to keep up with my training ...thanks for your feedback Richard and good luck , if you need any guidance don't forget to ask :)
Hi, Justine! I am a stay-at-home grandma! So - my story is a little different from other stay-at-home moms and there is indeed a tale to tell. To make it short, my husband and I decided that I would close my health practice when our granddaughters moved in full time.
That was almost 4 years ago.
Since then, I've focused on WA and have (in the past year) begun creating training for licensed professionals in the integrative health field. By mid-year, I'll have a better idea of where this path will go and how far it will take me.
No matter what, there's no way I could've written any website training without WA and the support of Kyle and Carson. They have been truly awesome!
Thanks Cathy, yes WA helps us move forward in so many different ways, our online and offline businesses, for me even my personal life has benefited from the training here. Kyle and Carson have put together an awesone training platform that anyone can follow and create sucess. :)
Hello, I am doing the training and I really love doing it. I am very undisciplined and keep getting attracted by the shiny modules that are further along in the training than I should be.Very distracted and wasting time I know but I am trying to also be organised and go through it bit by bit too. So now I will go and get back to the training while watching The Wizard Of Oz.
I am a stay at home mom. I actually considered going back to school once my kids started school full time and then I discovered WA. I had tried working from home by trying 2 MLM's as well. I initially made a decent amount of money but it wasn't sustainable for me.
I love being part of WA. I feel like I am back at school but it's self paced and I don't have to worry about handing in assignments. I am solely responsible for my own work. And instead of having to wait until I graduate to look for a job and make money, I have started earning some money while I'm still learning.
I think WA is a great opportunity for stay at home moms who are looking to learn something new with the ability to turn that knowledge into a full time business.
However, people need to know that this is not a job and you will not be getting paid by the hour. The education you receive at WA is what will allow you to build an online business of your own.
Well said Tania, so true what you are saying, this is not a job that pays you by the hour. This is an opportunity for stay at home moms to put what they are learning within WA and put it into action, I love being a part of this community!! :)

I'm a stay at home mum, newly returned to WA. My boy is almost 8 months old and it can be tough finding time to spend at the computer to get work done. Luckily, most things can be done from a smartphone! My best advice would be to get organised and make sure you have a system that syncs between phone and computer like Dropbox, onenote or evernote.

Hi Justine:) I am a stay at home mom who is taking the courses of Wealthy Affiliate to educate myself into a web developer. I have searched the Internet for an affordable course and found the most amazing knowledge at the Wealthy Affiliate University. I am a member/student for almost 2 years now, and I still learn every day new stuff. This is an enormous knowledge-bank where I can study the next 5 years without getting bored.
2 years ago, I started from scratch, through the easy to follow video training, I have now 6 websites online and a nice additional income from it.
When you are a stay at home mom, you truly must try this out!
