I'm trying to figure out what it'll take to make a liable income off of testing games
Hi,
I have worked in the gaming industry and there is no real job as a game tester.
The company I worked for (won't say which company, but it was one of the biggest in the industry) sometimes invited people to play and test their games, but those were not paid.
It was more an incentive for active members in the community.
YouTubers and Twitchers were invited, too, of course.
Those get the games for free, too.
If you want to make money by playing games, you have to either become a successful YouTuber or Twitcher.
Or build a site that reviews games and make money through affiliate programs.
That is taught here at WA.
