There Is No Substitute For Hard work
The title is a quote from Thomas Edison. It means so much in life and means so much here at Wealthy Affiliate.
The only way and I mean the only way things are going to work here is if you follow the steps write to the letter and if you are willing to put in the work.
People who are not on this journey do not realize how difficult it can be. I got to thinking about this post this morning after realizing how tired I was last night. I actually fell asleep right in the middle of working on a new post for my WA site.
My day starts at 5AM and never ends before midnight. I also know there are many here who put in the same or more hours than myself.
I have a full time job and we are raising our 6 year old grandson so yes life is crazy but I still love doing it and look forward to it everyday.
So if you think you can take short cuts, if you think a couple minutes a day, if you think plopping in a few links here and there is going to work here at all then my friend you are sadly mistaken. It takes hours and hours of time commitment and yes very hard work. May not be physical but let me tell you brain power can at time be more exhausting than anything else.
So follow the steps, put in the time and you will be a successful affiliate marketer.

I have always said that mental work is much harder on you than physical work. If you knew the hours that I put in here, you would think that I am crazy!! But, it will take it to make my dream come true!!

Nope , I wouldnt think you were crazy. I would think you are dedicated to making your dreams come true.
Realy like the title Dale, it stands the test of time that one. Thanks for sharing your insights, it is kind of like the game of two halves in the first instance we need to work hard to create something that is viable so in the second half, we do not have to work as hard to maintain the momentum we have created.
The real good thing about WA is the road has been laid down for us all we need to do is work our way down it.
As I posted today in a blog Trust the Process---it's all a learning process and you can't skip steps
Its just a shame that in many cases it takes a lot of failures to finally realize that and in even more cases people never realize that.
Thank you for stopping by my friend.
