You need content and TRAFFIC to be able to join programs as they would check those elements prior approval, however you could apply to Amazon sooner but still have to satisfy the quote of doing three sales in 180 days.
I feel I have the content but I wasn't sure if I wrote another post going over the same things from previous post if it would be to much of an overkill.
You would want to cover a new keyword per post however related to your niche website, because not all posts will rank and to increase your chances getting ranked in the search engines.
So a keyword a post, next post a new keyword, still have to satisfy the metrics and keywords checked on Google page 1 before settling on a keyword.

Has the post been indexed and ranked yet?
If not, it could be changed to "draft" mode. List all posts see "Quick Edit:" button under each post A post can be changed to "draft" there.
Otherwise just leave it without the affiliate program because chances are your site does not have enough traffic to get sales yet.
Write a lot of informational posts for your niche. Write posts to answer questions. See answersocrates.com. Also ParthaB has a good blog for getting content ideas. 1,000,000+ Keywords - Your Mind Blown Like NEVER Before?

I just started on level 3 of my training and learned a lot. But was just trying to figure out which would be better in this situation. What would be able to attract my target c
Depends what you are looking to do.
Resource What is a Page or a Post? - How to Switch a Page to a Post and Vice Versa
In a short answer, Pages are more likely to be static; meaning that Google won’t necessary index them and you won’t get comments. These are useful for Affiliate Disclosure/Private Policy/Cookie Policy/etc. Posts are engaging and are targeted for Google to index them as well as your audience will be able to comment in them.
Here are several things to consider.
1) Is the content static (forever with little change) or needing updates periodically. Page is for static. posts are for update though either of then can be updated and search engines like content updates.
2) How will the content be made visible to visitors.
Posts can have categories added to them and be searched by category and or presented in a menu by category. Plus they have a date and author and automatically appear in the blog roll.
Pages stand alone. They do not have the category structure automatically built within them. Nor do they have the blog roll. Prev and Next. To make pages visible to site viewers they need to be linked to a menu. Pillar articles can be used to internally link to each of them.
3) Both are content and indexed and ranked by their content.
4) Posts have a lot more layout template options. If that is important.
We like using pillar pages for content that is static and linking to posts and pages from the pillar page.
One is not better than the other they have different functions. Posts are in the blog roll. Pages are linked and offer information but have to be found on your menu. I use my posts to teach and inform and my pages have product info.
Posts are shown in your blogroll whereas pages are essentially "hidden" pieces of content that can only be found if you physically link to them (such as by adding them as a menu item).
