Broken Journey

Hi WA Family,

No, this is not a "flying saucer" story or a "time loss: saga! I just want to share Sue and My struggle for the last 5 months or so.

It started in late October 2019 with our moving from Green Valley Arizona to Yuma Arizona because Sue's sister had lost her husband and Sue wanted to be closer to look after.her The move to Yuma went fairly good but moving 300 miles is not always a fun activity.

When we got moved into an older "mobile home" there was a lot of things that needed to be fixed, including the floor in a screened in porch. There was dry rotting and termite damage.

When the old flooring was ripped up, our sons discovered the joyces were lacking and not correctly placed in the flooring structure of the pouch. Thanks to some hard work from family and friends, this was all corrected and the porch flooring is solid.

Then of 19 December 19, Sue fell in the living room and broke her wrist. She unable to do much for about 6 weeks. I had to assume some of her duties which I was happy to do. Then just before Christmas, I came down with severe coughing, very mild fever and some other symptoms . Since there was no COVID-19 testing that I knew about, one can only guess what it was. It didn't last more than a week.

When 2020 came rolling in, it has brought us milder conditions on our journey at Wealthy Affiliate in spite of COVID-19, hoarding and all around craziness. . Sue's wrist has mended and I am feeling fine.

While Sue is not quite as active in Wealthy Affiliate as she once was (she is more in the background), we just keep the journey going and it certainly has paid off for us.

The whole point of this article is to point out that we may have to stop for a while with life's problems, but quitting should never be an option.

Remember, "You never fail unless you quit"

Stopping for a while is necessary sometimes for a while, but get going again when you can and you will succeed.

Success has no time restraint. True success is not for quitters.

Let us keep moving forward.

Really unhappy to receive the news that you are being forced to stop only very happy that with your mindsets nothing can keep you down for long..I am equally happy that Sues wrist is mended and you are feeling fine. I await to hear from you both on your return....!!

Stay safe and take care,

R.

Hi Rami,

Your most welcome!!

Hi Bill and Sue,

I'm very glad to hear Sue is feeling much better.

I've had some family business challenges for the past 6 months and then moved elsewhere. I agree with you that even though we have life challenges, we should never ever give up. So true that when we quit, we fail.

I'm really happy to hear you're moving on with your business... I just got back into mine and it sure feels mighty good.

All the best you and Sue and please take care and stay well.

God's Gracious Blessing to you and Sue!

Monica

Excellent post, Bill and Sue.

I agree completely with you, we do not fail unless we quit.
It has taken me a long time to get to where I am on WA, but gradually bit by bit I have accomplished something.

Yes, I stopped along the way. That is what life is about stopping to smell the roses, or deal with the crisis. We all have to do it now and again.

I am glad Sue's wrist is better and you are both settled in your new place.

Have fun - that is the other thing life is about.

Alex

Hi Alex,
Having fun along the way is a fantastic motivator.

Being close to the Lord is number #1 of course, but having some fun is greatly needed.

Great to hear from you again!
So sorry for all the hurdles you’ve had in your path but glad you were able to jump them all.
Now stay safe and healthy!
Blessings,
KyleAnn

This is a great reminder! It is important to recognize that it’s ok to tackle other things when they come to the forefront in our lives, but always come back to building our dreams. You are correct, winners never quit!

I’m glad things are looking up for you two:)

Thank you!
Heidi
