Keys to Success
While an high IQ certainly helps, It is not amongst the important keys to success. If it was an important key to success all smart people would be rich. it turns out to be less important than personality and luck.
Keys to success can be learned.
Conscientiousness, a personality traits marked by diligence, perseverance and self-discipline, may be more important than how smart you are.
You can be the smartest person in the world, but if you don't take action all those brains are going to go to waste.
De you have what it takes?
The personality traits that count towards success can be taught. If parents read to their kids it will stimulate their curiosity. If parents take their kids bird watching, fishing or camping it will stimulate their love of nature. If a parent encourages hobbies their children will learn to preserver and follow through. Children learn from their parents example.
Parents teach by example.
I'm a forester and a life long conservationist. After work our family went fishing or snorkeling in the ocean. On weekends we would go hiking and camping. All my kids have grown up with an appreciation of nature.
What you do with your kids may well be the key to their successful future.
Don't be discouraged if you are not the best or the smartest in the world. You can learn to create solid relationships.
What do you want to accomplish?
Know what you want to achieve during your life.Then plan what you must do to achieve your goals.This is where conscientiousness comes into play. The determination with which you approach your goals will be the difference between success and failure.
We are here at WA because we want to be successful internet marketers. It will take perseverance to complete the training. It will take discipline to finish and maintain our websites. It will take patience before we see success.
If you do not have these traits you can learn them. Never stop growing. Never stop trying.

Very good synopsis and information overall. Some of the most average individuals have actually created some of the most important inventions. One of the major traits I felt was their purpose and how they applied that purpose.

I don't know how smart Edison was but he was certainly was tenacious. Thousands of failures before he finally developed a working light bulb.
Some say we are in a new renaissance like the period between the 1890s-1920s or even into the 1950s. Whichever it is certainly the next 50 will see a massive change in technology and industry for sure.
