Is social media worth my time.
Last Update: August 06, 2020

I posted a thought for the day on Twitter and immediately went to my home page to see what it lookd like. I went down a black hole and an hour latter dug myself out. I never found my post I wonder if any of my friends did.
I always announce a blog post I mqke on Facebook and twitter. Are they lost in cyber heaven? 95% of what I see on social media is ads.
I try to limit my time on social media to less than half an hour a day. I have to ask, are there better things I can do with that half hour than posting to social media?

Thanks for getting the discussion started about social media.
I had been on the fence about using tailwind, now will not mess with it.
I probably need to do more education for FaceBook. Use the time I might have spent learning to use tailwind.
Tirolith's share of Webtalk is unknown to me, and I appreciate the information.
I think that Pinterest is changing a bit. So there too, I think the niche just takes a while to grow. I need to redo some of my pens and polish them a bit.
Thanks for the time to think about the situation,
Sami

Hi Bill.
The Social media platform is an important part of gaining visitors to your site.
If you are having issues with it you will find a lot of training available on the subject here at WA.
Like Alyse, I find Pinterest the best platform to use.
It's great to spend half an hour on your social media platform but I think you need to spend at least that time on training (for social media) as well.
All the best. Jim

YES.
I am using the new Webtalk social media that is paying me to be a member and have been paid over $4000.00 since January.
It is not greedy and selfish and it is more like LinkedIn for entrepreneurs.
My link to it is in my profile for you to look at to see if it is what you need.
I have a lot of videos about it in my News, near my photo.
Tom.

I changed my plans about social media some months ago, and now it is a crucial part for me.
What I did is that I forgot Facebook (tried it some times but was not worth it for me) and Twitter (I have really never understood why Twitter is popular in some countries).
But I focus 100% on Pinterest, learn how to do it, researched people which I know that had significant success there, and take good things from these people and mix it with the basics.
I tried Tailwind, but that damaged my traffic on Pinterest. After I stop using it, the traffic comes quickly back. I have never used ads there (not allowed for me) and will not use it because I don´t need it.
