I'm still confused
I'm confused.
What is the path forward?
I need to post content on my websites. I want to post here at WA.
Time I spend adding content to my websites helps my websites rank in the search engines.
How does time I spend writing posts for WA help me?
- I get the satisfaction of helping other WA members.
- I am promoting WA as one of my many income streams. My posts to WA rank well because WA is an authority site
So, how does posting at WA benefit me financially. Other than the income stream generated by people who vist WA as a result of my post I cannot see a financial benefit. Am I missing something?
According to the rules, I can have links to my websites and social media sites in my profile and I can ask people to share their opinion of a post or page on my website. I support those rules because they keep WA spam free, but they are a major disadvantage when it comes to promoting my websites.
I have websites devoted to:
- conservation and Hawaii's environment
- personal and financial resiliency
- creating a home business
- Personal development with a focus on retirement.
My approach to striking a balance between posting to WA and posting to my websites is if my subject is business development, I post here at WA and then post a short summary of my WA post on my blog with a link to the WA post.
If my blog subject is on any other subject than Internet Marketing, I post the blog to my appropriate website
Is there a better strategy? How do you decide when or evn if you will post to WA?

I reviewed one of Jay's webinars last week called "Writing and Ranking WA Blog Posts." Check it out if you haven't already. He said that you can put a link to an outside website into your WA posts to increase its ranking with Google. Just remember when you post to go to settings and mark your posts as available to everyone so outside people can find it.

I started doing a summary on my own. Seemed a logical way to get a backlink and bring traffic to WA. Jay, @Magistudios confirms it is a good strategy in his "Writing and Ranking WA Blog Posts."
i like that Bill - other than getting people to visit and sign up to wa, what financial benefit is there - recurring fees - one of the best methods of creating a passive income.
if people join for 6 months then you have had 5 months of fee for doing nothing.
but is this not tagged onto your home business site - do you not promote your wa blogs and add them to social media and link to your site.
as you say this site will rank highly - so look for keywords which you may not be able to rank on your site for, but link back from your site to here.
so is there any benefit, other than another place to add to your knowledge, and ours...

All true. Jay recommennds all our WA Blog post be designed to attract people to WA. Posts that are not relevant to Affiliate Marketing belong on our websites.
That clears up so much for me.
Your first focus should be your website not post here in WA. That is where the money is so focus on that first and follow the training.
Yes. True until we start the Basecamp Training. Then we are promoting the WA Affiliate Program as one of our income streams. Posting at WA is one of the fundamental ways to attract people some of whom will become Premium Members.
