Frustration-All Posts Menu columns to narrow

My all post title field was so narrow it coud only display 6 letters on a line. Title field was all most unreadable. I tried dragging the edge of the collum like you would in a spreadsheet but no luck. I searched WA and Google for a soltution. No luck.

Problem Solved

I finally noticed a "screen options" button in the top right corner of my screen. I clicked it and got the option of eliminating any column in the all posts menu I wanted to remove. I took out a few columns I didn't need and all of a sudden columns are wider and readable.

Hope this elliminatees some frustration for a few of you.

Seriously now, Bill. Some of these Screen Options DO HAVE functions other than display something on your screen.
For example: Author.
If unchecked, scroll down below the SEO section and you will notice that the Author Field disappeared. That means you will not be able to change the Author in case you want to display the name of a guest writer or one you paid for.
Or:
The Excerpt field.
If unchecked, like the Author field disappears back down and you will not be able to handcraft 'excerpt' to be displayed at your blog roll.

Therefore, make sure you know what happens if unchecking/checking something in the Screen Options

Thanks, I'll look at it. Does the data get lost or is it just hidden until you turn the field on again?

Data is just hidden. However, some have a function, also. Like EXCERPT, if you don't show it, you cannot use it.

Don't tell me it took you 6 years to 'find' Screen Options by accident? That's a good one.

I'm kinda slow.

Well done. There's always an answer to every issue. Jim

I was frustrated. The columns in my All Posts Menu were so narrow they were almost impossible to read.. I hope this solution saves you from frustration.
