Traffic Exchanges

This is another way you're supposed to be able to promote a website. I've seen several of these and I'm not sure how good of a tool they really are. They are set up in such a way that you're supposed to get traffic to your website by viewing other people's websites. They are almost never on a 1 to 1 ratio, either. Most are on a 3 to 1 ratio whereby you have to view 3 sites in order to receive 1 credit to have your site viewed. They are very time consuming and do not allow you to build credits very quickly. They are also comprised mostly of other internet marketers and just like safe lists and text ad exchanges, do not produce good results.

Yeah, avoid traffic exchanges. The people making money within these are those selling "ad packs" and many of these have been deemed illegal (like Traffic Monsoon) and have been wiped out completely.
The traffic is low quality and you are not going to get far at all if you waste your time on these types of platforms.
