I recently had an ad campaign removed from Facebook due to it's policy on posting about pyramid MLM scams. I responded to their "If you think this was done in error" link and this morning I got their apology and they restored my campaign. Here is what I got....

"Hi Fred,

Thanks for following up on this. It appears your ads were mistakenly disapproved, and we've re-reviewed and approved them. I'm sorry for any inconvenience this caused.

Please note that although we approved your ads, these ads may remain paused until you resume them. You can access your ads and change their status at any time by going to your Ads Manager (www.facebook.com/ads/manage) or by clicking on the "Ads" tab in the Applications menu when you are logged in to your account."

Whew, thanks for the info Fred. I was just getting started making friends in facebook with the eventual intention to get involved with what you're doing. I shall certainly be careful now. God bless you...

Well, the thing I think is that this is not an MLM, pyramid scam. It as training to learn Affiliate Marketing.. I resent anyone implying otherwise. And Facebook certainly will NOT allow MLM stuff, so the fact that they re-reviewed an found it to be NOT an MLM should be enough proof for anyone. And I have had 5 likes on my FB page built for WA since it started.

Thank you, you give more hope dear. I shall have to make it clear WA is not MLM and like you will certainly resent anyone who thinks I would get involved with such.

I'm so glad your situation was resolved Fred. Good for you. By the way, I just blocked quite a few wannabes Facebook friends with clear MLM affiliations. Why did Facebook allow this I wonder?

God bless....
Shirley

I've had exactly the same on my facebook. i had to wait two weeks to start again with advertising. I haven't tried yet so will let you know how I get on again.

Well done Big Daddy. ~Marion

Good to know!

That is great news to find out FB pled WA and we all know WA is not a scam; so thank you for responding to FB

You know its always the good guy that gets screwed with, so take the compliment even if its a back handed one.

The point I was trying to make is that when FB actually looked at WA they apologized and ran my ad. This is about WA, not FB. WA = Not A Scam!

Wow! Great.

I was in the same boat as you for another ad I made. FB has tightened their ad policy and its more difficult to post an ad on there if they think its spam. The best way I found around this is to tweak the wording of the ad so that it can get through.

Hmmm. Will have to sit down and think this out really carefully. Thanks for the headsup Kalman dear. Blessings...
Shirley

Personally I would steer clear of Facebook advertising!

Why do you say that?

Glad to hear they did the right thing and approved them!
