Creating quality content is what every individual desire in Wealthy Affiliate. For you to write quality content you need a quality writing materials or platform as we have in WA. Our WordPress writing platform is content writing friendly because inside your one page you can do all things starting from writing, canceling, redo, undo, adding attachments. You can add videos and images in you contents without stress. So many things to do using the editor file.

You will want to know how it works..........

If you want to write a new post, go to your dashboard by your left side click on the post the pop-up will appear then click on the add a new post then space just as it is on the image above will appear where you will write the title of your post.

VISUAL Editor is for writing/editing/formatting your content

When you are writing your content and using WordPress Visual Editor You will see 2 rolls of toolbar wich you will find out what they are by hovering your mouse over them. When you hover your mouse over them a small tooltip that appears will give you an idea of what that icon is for.

Under the toolbar is your keyboard and below the keyboard is a white space where you will place your cursor and begin to type your content it like a white board or writing pad.

What are the Keyboard Functionaries

Upper Row

Here kitchen sink is turned off ( you have only one line of Icons)

The keyboard you are looking at is not complete since it has not collapsed. At the left side right at the top is Add Media. As you are writing your content and needed to add image or video. Click on the add media, it will take you to where you can upload your image from where you saved the image.

Below is heading or paragraphs; this will help you to organize your work in headings or paragraphs giving your content organized outlook.

Beside heading1 is bold "B". Use B to bold any word/words.To do that highlight the word/words and click on the B. You can bold and unbold words with the B following the same process.

Following B is "I". If you want to put your words in italics use the word "I" at the keyboard to do that. Next to "I" is Bullet points. You want to write a list and you don't want to use any of these 1, 2, 3.... or a, b, c, d...... the next one following it is the one you can use to give your content numbers.

After numbers, is QUOTATION MARK In your content, you want to put your words into quotation mark you use that. Highlight the word you want the Quotation on, click Quotation mark and is done.

The three groups of lines immediately before the quotation mark is ALIGNMENT( commanders) that can help you command your word/words to the place you want them to be, either to right, center or left.

Next to that is a chain icon for LINK (insert/edit), this enables you to link your content to pages/posts on your website.

NOTE: The links are not clickable until you publish your post.

Following the link is the DELETE Icon with which you will use to delete the link/links you don't want to use.

Following the Delete Icon, is Insert more tags, Then,

Toolbar Toggle or Kitchen sink is seen as a square at the top roll. you can turn kitchen sink on/off. when it is turned on you have more icons displayed but when turned off you have only one line of icons displayed.

Here toolbar toggle is turned ON (you have two lines of Icons displayed)

AFFILIATE LINK; Affiliate link is used to connect to your affiliate companies. But of course, you must have communicated with your company and got a link from them. You click on the affiliate link, a pop-up will appear where you will fill up accordingly.

DOWN ROW

Below the top row is a Line that indicates "Strikeout" a word/words

Paint Icon marked A with a drop-down is a custom. When you click on the drop-down box different colors will appear where you will make a choice of the color you want to use in your content.

Next Is Paste AS a text: You can use this Icon to turn an object into a text in your content

Anther one is Clear formatting

CHARACTER BOX is an Icon like a helmet at down roll. It contains a lot of special characters you can choose from when you need one to insert it into your content.

Next, is Outdent which you can use to move your text further to the left

Indent moving your text further to right

Undo; If you want to go away from your immediate action you click on undo

Redo; If you want to recall your last action you click on redo

Help; If you need help on the use of your editor you click on the last icon. This Will reveal to you all the keyboard shortcuts as in the screen shot below.
