I must recommend our faithful managers on their thoughtfulness concerning the community here in Wealthy Affiliate. The type of plugins they provide here save us from a lot of trouble knowingly or unknowingly.

My Ordeal

You know that updating plugins is easy than updating the WordPress installation. So whenever I open my administrative area and find out that my WordPress needs updating my heart would skip because of what I experienced the first day I updated my wordpress, I nearly completely lost my website.

Thanks Goodness for Presence Updraftplus Plugin:

This faithful day my WordPress needed to be upgraded. Then I followed normal way of saving my database, my plugins my medea and what have you, then upgraded my wordPress. Coming to load back the content of my website into my WordPress, nothing was coming up. My head started to spine, I repeated this several times but nothing was coming up. Then my mind raced for where my help would be coming then I remembered to check Updraftplus.

When I checked my Updraftplus backup plugin lo and behold my content was there with all the backup done for several days by Updraftplus plugin. I was so glad that I was able to recover my website content again.

Cool Advice

Dear community especially newbies in our community. If in any time it happens to you just as it happened to me go to your Updraftplus at your toolbar, click on the existing backup your contents (works) will be there waiting for you.
