Time Flies When You are having Fun!
Yesterday was June 5th. My husband, Jeff, and I celebrated our 34th anniversary since we got married. We had actually met 5 years earlier on Cinco de Mayo in Tulsa, Oklahoma. So we also celebrated 39 years together! It has been a wild ride! I would not trade him for all the money in the world! He has been the most amazing husband and father that we could ever have asked for!
Here is a picture of us in 1983 a couple of days before we got married. We are standing on the deck of our new house! We really feel OLD looking at this picture!

WOW!! 45 years?? That is amazing! It is really hard to live with the same person for decades. But, personally, I believe if two people really try hard, they can stay married their entire lives to their spouse. We all get irritated and unhappy at times, but you just have to take a really hard look at what is happening, talk about it, work it out, and get over it!! WE ALWAYS APOLOGIZE to each other if we have hurt feelings or done something wrong. Also, I always tell my son: We sometimes poison our own wells! Sometimes he starts talking trash about his girlfriend, and I remind him how he is poisoning his well! He totally understands and STOPS!! If everyone did that, this world would be a better place. Congratulations to you and your husband. I hope my husband lives long enough for us to celebrate 45 years!!! Take Care.
Such a nice picture with fond memories of all those years, that is something not all people have.

Yes time flies. I've been enjoying like since I left my office job and became self employed...now it's just 3 months before I go on my special trip to Mexico. It's hard to believe it's almost time. It seemed like an eternity away before.
