Changing website names
On siterubrix or your premium domains?
You can't change an owned domain name unless you go buy another
Was told that siterubix doesn't rank well with Google, that it was better to own your own??
Yes absolutely
Siterubrix are subdomains so much harder to rank than with one you own yourself. I only use my own domains and use .com .org or .xyz as can get them for $1.

That's good to know. Guess I'll go in and buy another, and transfer everything over to the new one.
Remember your domain name isn't terrifically important to ranking now ..it used to be. Your domain can be anything easily remembered and as long as your content is great and you optimise it well you'll rank perfectly well. Depends if your old domain name is still suitable for your niche.

Your welcome to check it out, and tell me what you think. I was just going by some feedback that it had nothing to do with what I was promoting. ispthn77.siterubix.com

How do I change my website name on site rubix?
Changing website names
That's the website name, lol. Would like to change the Domain name. I have 2 sites, one I bought the domain from Namecheap, but haven't been really working on it. The second is a siterubix, and would like to be able to swap them completely. Is that an easy task or difficult
you cant change the one you bought. you own it...you'd need to buy another.
I imagine you cant change the siterubrix domain (but i dont know as I have never used one).
You can transfer content by going into the webiste you want to transfer and going to tools, export and export the website files, then go into your other domain and in wordpress tools, import the file to your new site. Its not quite changing domains but does get your old content onto a new domain name.
as a premium member you can host 25 domains you own and 25 siterubrix domains...so if your site doesnt have much on it then youre better off to start fresh with a domainname you are happy with.

I notice behind most people's name you will have premium and then follow me
Since you can't follow yourself, that button doesn't appear when you look at your own user name. For all other WA members -- Anybody who's not following you sees it; people who are already following you don't.
Hi Bob, I knew someone would come who knew what they were talking about ;) My guess was half right lol

Still new, kinda, so have to walk these paths for a bit more. Thankyou, Jason.
