So YouTube Just Paid Me $2,053.47

Last Update: April 22, 2019

Yeah.. $2,053.47.

Would you agree that is significant money?

What would you do with an extra $2k+ a month? (let me know down in the comments)

So, the natural question is how did my online business earn me this type of money?

Easy... YouTube Adsense.

I have for YEARS cried and moaned trying to teach the masses that YouTube Adsense is quite possibly the WORST way that you can monetize your YouTube channel. (Honestly, I still stand by that to a certain extent...)

But when the channel pays you $2k or more a month, you really cannot ignore the fact that it can become a pretty GREAT source of income.

For the record, this is not affiliate offers, this is not sponsorship deals, this is not merchandise... this is straight up YouTube Adsense... YouTube Partner Program (YPP).

Getting to that first 1000 subscribers is difficult, it really is, but I have been using tricks of the trade that I have learned from EXTENSIVE research and have found ways to reach these goals faster.

As a result, all of my sweat, toil, and anguish and time is paying off.

There is nothing better than working extra hard on something and getting more than a 'pat on the back' form your boss, just so that he can give you more work.

I know that Jay has been doing webinars in recent weeks talking about the power of YouTube, but honestly, the power of YouTube cannot be fully quantified. It's difficult to put into words.

It is quite possibly the hottest traffic source in the world right now, if you are not taking advantage of it, then you are truly missing out.

Now this is not saying that Blogging is no longer viable, but I honestly believe YouTube has to be part of your content strategy as well... even if you do not want to show your face. (which is OK, too)

So if something is holding you back from starting YouTube to add-on to your business and help it grow, ignore it and push through.

Create a video already... just do it... without thinking. You quickly realize that your fears and concerns are all in your head.

If you plan on using YouTube right now or sometime in the future, please let me know in the comments or throw at me what your biggest hold up is in starting YouTube and let's see if we can push through together.

EDIT: A number of you have asked to see my YouTube channel. You can visit my profile page here at WA and you will find the link in the Follow Me On Links or you can simply click here

I am going to book mark this post, as I am not quite ready to step into the realms of youtube yet. I have a Niche website to build, and then after that is 'ticking' over I will be starting my passion project that will involve youtube.

So thankyou so much for this, it has given me the motivation, to get my head down and get working!

Hi Benjamin, this is great congrats!

When it comes to making videos I am one of those persons who don't want to show face, yet.

I want to ask you is it better to make videos with my voice or can it be simple video only with text? And from your experience what is the best video length?

Thank you!

Thank you for sharing this information! Could be vital for me going forward.
I do understand how HUGE the potential of YouTube is hence why I have already made my Youtube channel in preparation for putting content out there for my niche website.
Is the YouTube adsense in the traing here at W.A or is that something you have researched yourself?
I'm a complete newbie to the online world but I know its the future, that's why I am here.
Any pointers or advice on starting up my channel would be hugely appreciated :)

Again thanks for the post. I am currently reading through a few of your posts as you know your stuff it seems!

Kind regards

Hi Daniel, a pot of what I've learned is self taught. But I've had great success with it.

I will be posting some training here soon. So watch out for them. But I also sent you a private message.

Hi. I plan to use youtube. I have made several videos, but only one for my one of my sites and a couple of short ones here for training. I get really nervous that I will do or say the wrong thing. That's the main thing that holds me back!

Best wishes,

I am just about to create my first video for my niche website and it scares the hell out of me.

The irony is that I already have a course on Skillshare... you'd think I'd have got over camera-fright, wouldn't you? :)

Oh... and finding the time for the editing scares me too. :D

Chris - it is SO cool that you would follow up on this a couple of months later. Thanks for asking the question. :)

No, I haven't made the video yet BUT I did get my room set up for it last week and received the mobile phone tripod mount this week so I'm almost there.

I guess you could say I've been working on removing all my excuses so expect my first video next week. (Yikes... now I'm committed).

Indeed, YouTube is a great source of income. Have You seen how many views get those videos for kids ? Millions ! It seems that it is not that hard to get this amount of views in this niche. May be they are using special software that helps them promote their YouTube channel ?

Congratulations on your YouTube success!
I have started a Youtube Chanel (LOL)

My biggest fear about the whole thing is "My Voice" + Accent- Goodness!
I don't who would want to listen to that!

But I'm certainly not going to give up without trying better.
I would rather put myself out there and be an epic failure than not to try at all

Just so you know, your voice can't stop you now. For just a few dollars and can have some make that video you want AND do the voice over as well. Look at sites like Fiverr and you can find skilled people to do this for you. You just need to create the content for that video. Best of luck with your future projects!

There can be very few people on this planet who consider $2k+ per month to be insignificant. I would see this as a great base from which to build a very healthy full-time income.

I will get around to using YouTube myself in due course - first I have a few more basics to master, but it's definitely in my future.

Like many others I have a deep phobia about talking on camera, but also know that many have overcome this to become extremely successful. Also, many people are making much more than $2k per month without ever going near the front end of the camera.

I look forward to reading about your first $5k month.

Hi there, BenjisDad!

I've only just begun the second part of the online entrepreneur training. So I've literally just purchased my first domain. I have a really solid idea of what content I'm going to use for my site and yes it is definitely going to include video.

Even though it's going to be "home-made" video I think it will certainly help out. Since I know that applying video content to my site is going to be a must, I've considered also posting to YouTube to maybe generate more traffic to my site.

As of now, I'm just rolling on through the training and taking things step by step so that I don't miss out on anything.

It is a great platform. I know that! But, I am still not promoting on YouTube. I am really considering to start doing it.

In fact, I am not using any social media platform. Since Google+ closed the doors, I stopped to post on "socials!"

I have FB and LI account but not using for this purpose.

Instagram is also great! Pinterest and Twitter as well. As soon I built up a bit more my site, I am going to consider it really seriously.

Wish you much more success,

After being fired from my job (just over broke) in January this year. I pushed myself to setup a YouTube Channel and posted a clickbank video just to see whether or not I could do it. After putting together a bit of information from here and there I was able to do it. I decided to name it The Beauty Resource Club because so many people online are looking for anti-aging tips and tricks. I haven't posted any more videos just yet but plan to do so more often now that my cell phone was shutoff a few hours ago. lol

Everyone needs to follow Chris on his YouTube channel. I've learned so much about creating YouTube videos by just watching his awesome content.

It's a double gift. You learn various blogging and make money tips. But you also learn how to create great YouTube videos by watching what he does.

He definitely inspired me. And he is a great YouTube course you guys should check out. I know Chris is ethical and wouldn't promote it in this post. But if you visit his channel, you'll see some information about it. Even if you don't buy his YouTube course. You can learn a lot about how to create effective YouTube videos just be watching him.

I know I'll be getting back in YouTube videos. It was one of my initial marketing activities that did very well. But then they killed one of my videos and I got in my feelings and stopped creating videos. lol

But watching Chris and other super affiliates here has inspired me to get back into it.

I was doing a screencast video walking through a job site called career builder and I was showing people some of the scam jobs listed there and how to avoid it. Apparently they didn't like that and told YouTube to take down my video based on a copyright infringement.

That video had tons of views and likes. It turned me off to youtube because it showed me I had no control over the content or traffic. So I decided never to host videos there any more. But thats not what I should have done. So I'll get back into it. I enjoyed creating videos and I was good at it. So Chris has inspired me to give it another go.

Awesome work! All of your hard work has and is paying off. The hold up for me on YouTube is no excuse but, it's the truth. I have 9 children so, blogging is all ready a challenge that I am so pushing through.

I don't see how I can fit any more into my schedule. I all ready dedicate my entire day almost to blogging and WA. Plus, a YouTube channel would take even more time to find a quiet area. Even when I go to a separate room my children will not stay quiet for long.

So, far I've started a YouTube channel but, it has premade animated videos and commercial like videos on the channel that link back to my blog. Until, I can figure out a way to add more to my plate, I just can't see away to add YouTube to my schedule.

Anyhow, I just thought I'd share what is holding me back with YouTube. I wanted to say you are inspiring and your progress in here in WA has been motivational.

Hey :)
You asked what's stopping us from doing the first video?? For me, it's finding a quiet/alone time in the house when I can focus on doing the vocal part. Kids, hubby... it's never quiet enough for me to take that plunge and get the first video voice-over done. Or maybe I just feel like I need privacy and complete quiet to get it done... and that just never happens. Someday!
