HI, another member here at WA had posted this tutorial - perhaps it will help answer your quesiton. The Difference between a Blog and a Website
I found a few tutorials and Q&A regarding how to find free-to-use photos from google, but if I see a photo I like from a website, is there any way of checking what licenses
This might be of help too

None of the pages on my site seem to have the "Leave a comment" section at the bottom, and I can't find an option for me to get this turned on. What should I do? Here's my site
There is a settings tab in edit up in the upper right corner, and if you open it, be sure the comments box is checked.
One of the things I have done before in times past is log out of the website (back office) and the comments area will appear. Not sure if this is still the case but it has been in older versions of WP.
If you were to visit your website when still logged on, the comments section didn't display.
If you choose quick edit you should be able to enable the comments for your particular page.
Hi Tom, this quick edit thing worked for me. I never clicked on Quick Edit before because I always assumed it was the same as Edit. Just a note for anyone reading, remember to check the "Allow Comments" box on, then UPDATE. :)
Hi BengT, I'm glad it worked out for you! I had the same problem last week so it was still fresh in my memory :-)
Thanks BelieveItYes, I made sure that the settings was checked and updated already, but the "comments" was still not visible on my pages until i went to Quick Edit to update the "Allow Comments". You would have thought it's on by default, but nope. :)
I think you want to go to your wordpress dashboard > settings > discussion and activate the comments box
