I Would Like to Encourage You Today

I had lunch with a friend today.

He complained nearly the entire lunch about everything in his life. He even has a flexible job where he never has to come to the office, but he found it within himself to complain about coming to the office once in the last two weeks.

Sometime it's hard to be friends with people like that.

I would like to encourage you to find the good things in life to think on. Dwell on the positive things. I'm not saying to never think a negative thought, however, I am asking you to stop dwelling on the negative things in your life.

I finally stopped my friend during lunch and asked him if he had good plans for his future.

He said, "No! How can I with all of this crap in my life?"

I kindly reminded him that, even during the difficult times, you can always have a plan for a brighter future that you can work toward.

I know many of us here don't have the perfect life, and that may be the reason why are here in the first place.

But, no matter where each of us is in our lives, we can plan ahead, look forward, and find good and peaceful things.

We all need to see the hope that Wealthy Affiliate brings to us. This is a place where we have come to build something positive and encourage others along the way.

Don't neglect the negative or difficult things in your life. I would actually promote that you tackle them first and give yourself more time to do the things you love later. Just, don't dwell on the negative. Deal with the negative but keep your mind on the positive.

Find some hope today and see the potential in your future.

Rick

Things Change - when You Change

Avoid the moaners and complainers - mix with like-minded successful minds -the winners it will rub off on you

Right down your goals - put a time frame on that goal - take the steps to achieve and visualize it every day.

Everything we create is energy, negative thoughts created negativity - positive thoughts create positivity

Life is too precious for constant negativity.. and life is a lesson. Every day is a new day full of opportunities and growth. It’s hard to be around people like that.. What we think of becomes our life. Staying positive can be difficult sometimes but we can’t let our thoughts control us. WE control our thoughts..

I think we should give thanks with what we have.
We have to set up for our plan for a better future:
- With the right mindset
- With the right attitude
- With the right mentors
- With the right program
- With the right systems
- With the right community

Thank you for your encouraging post, Rick.

You are definitely right. Complaining is not going to get you anywhere. The only thing that it leads you to is just more negative emotions.
NO ONE should have time for that.
Life was given to you for a reason. Continue to strive find that happiness you have aways wanted.
I am going to stop there, but overall but thank you for the post. People need to read things like that.

Be encouraged everyone!

Oh how right you are ! I find it difficult to concentrate if I have to much negativity going on ... There’s always better things to think about and when I am concentrating here within WA I find myself smiling a whole lot more !!! Maybe your friend needs to join WA lol ... Just a thought ... : ) ...
Best Wishes to You And Your Friend that’s sad
Lisa

I have mentioned it to him but if WA doesn't have something to do with killing deer or elk and mounting them on his wall, then he's not really interested.

On a serious note, I actually did mention to him that his knowledge could really help him build an incredible hunting niche and maybe even guided hunting trips in the future.

I don't think he heard what was coming out of my mouth though.

Rick

I Thanks for the encouragement...that's kinda where I'm at now. And I'm stuck between a rock and a hard spot. Dead end job and supporting my family even though I have a second job it pays no more then $100 maybe if I'm lucky a week. I'd been stop caring about my dreams or goals in life now. I figure I'm a bit too late for all of that now. What's important now is putting my youngest sister through school and taking care of my parents...Thanks for the encouragement though I really needed that.

Thank you for the honesty.

My sister has been a single mother most of her life and it is a challenge for her most every day.

We keep in touch a lot and have been working on getting more healthy together, which has helped here to get more positive by itself.

My thought for you is to develop a 20 year plan and outlook and start doing little things now to get you to where you want to be.

It's never too late to do something or plan for it.

We all have things we need to take care of and should not neglect them but if we have a long term plan, I think that can help a lot.

Rick

Agreed. The thing is though all of my plans fall thru. Lol and eventually I will forget about plan A because I'm too busy working on today's plan. Then when I get today's plan figured out I will come across a new idea which will turn into plan B. I'm more so tired of starting over so much. I've done this for 7yrs straight... But hey what don't kill me makes me stronger right? So, I guess I'll look for things to do spread out over 20yrs. Since it's not happening now. I hope I remember then. Thanks again for the advice...

Thank you, Rick. I needed to hear that today. I admit that I tend to be a complainer, mostly to my co-workers, but when it comes straight down to it I get what needs to be done, done.

I've found myself not complaining so much anymore. I think it's because I'm so busy doing something that I love, and has sort of become obsessed with. I just don't have the time anymore and so my attitude has changed.

I will try to remain positive and look on the bright side of things.

Thank you again for this post.

Take care.

You reminded me of my daughter's story. This last year she started her junior year in high school and she was really depressed. She took some hard classes and a few weeks later with the homework and hard classes she was so busy that she forgot she had been depressed.

She now works on staying active and busy.

She learned that one on her own without a parent telling her.

Rick

It sounds like your daughter has things figured out. That's good for her. I'm glad she learned that early.

Ahh Rick, this was really motivating...

I've been through a lot myself but I've decided to attract positivity into my life and I do that by thinking and speaking positively.

"Give yourself more time to do the things you love later" This part really touches me so thank you for this.

All the best to you

Thanks, Rick, for sharing your thoughts once more. The negative tends to overwhelms us and overshadow the positive. Because the negative often seems so powerful, I always remind my good friends to pick our all the good that happened in their lives and attribute that to all the achievements they have attained. That, I have found, tends to brighten the future and gives the strength to deal with negatively much better.

Thanks for your advice and have a fabulous weekend.

Mojalefa.

Thanks Richard, I admit I'm guilty of that as well only I keep it to myself most of the time. I try to remember that the Afflictions of that come with the negativity are only temporary if I address it and then I can move forward. Excellent perspective.

Thanks again, Brad
