How I Have Ranked so Fast Here at Wealthy Affiliate

I have had several Wealthy Affiliate (WA) members ask me lately, how I have managed to rank so quickly here at WA. I am new here so I'm not sure how fast "fast" is, nor am I bragging here in this post.

I would like to share in my simplistic terms of how I have ranked so quickly.

DISCLAIMER - I do not know what goes into the program about how WA ranks members. I do know a few things based on the training I have gone through.

This is what I have done since January 2nd, 2018, and trust me when I say that "FLASHING" BIG BLUE RANK ICON in the top right corner is not something I live by or strive for.

It just seems like it's flashing to me.

Here is what I have done in the past 2.5 months:

  1. I engaged with the WA community immediately.
  2. TRAINING - I put this in CAPS because it is what drives me.
    1. I finished the Certification Courses within one month, I believe.
    2. I am now in Phase 5, Lesson 10 of the Affiliate Bootcamp.
  3. I read and watch the training carefully and even go back over sessions that I find challenging.
  4. I never go to the next lesson until I have finished all the tasks in that lesson.
  5. I write my articles whenever Kyle tells me to write them after a lesson.
  6. I comment on other member's posts (at least 3) and then ask for return comments on my post. (This is where I get most of my WA engagement with other WA members).
  7. I write A LOT. 76 articles published and 49,743 words written in the last 2.5 months.
  8. I follow a lot of members here and get followed back as much, which helps with my engagement and gives me more opportunity to encourage and help other members.
  9. I keep things simple. I am a civil engineer and I can "overthink" things in a heart beat, but here at WA.....I keep it simple, follow the training, and lastly, I try not to ask a lot of questions, because most of my questions get answered about the exact time I need to know the answer.

That is pretty much all I do. I don't have a list of what I need to do each day.

I follow the training, I write a lot of content and I engage with the WA community.

These three things really would sum up what I do here every day at WA.

I hope this helps whoever may be wondering about the BIG BLUE "FLASING" ICON in the sky.

Rick

you are right Rick, continuous posting and interacting with the community will quickly get you the badge. this is obviously a thing I don't have much time to do.
congrats Rick

Stunning, keep up the spirit, I am following!!

Well I guess I need to engage more . I tend to try and get through my lessons but I do go over them quit often for iv never done anything like this before and I am computer illiterate... I am learning though .. Thanks so much for your input it is going to help me in my future here with WA .
Thanks Again
Lisa

It's all good. We all have a pace we feel comfortable with. I know my dad would still be at the sign in page if he were trying to do this.

Rick

Great shares. I wish

WOW! Great strides for just two months. I have been away from WA for a while and now am committed to re-engaging and making this work for me. You are a source of encouragement, Rick!

Wishing you MASSIVE success!

Nice job. For number 6, where do you go to read other peoples posts and to post your stuff on here? I only did that like twice when Kyle said to in the training. Thanks for your help.
6. I comment on other member's posts (at least 3) and then ask for return comments on my post. (This is where I get most of my WA engagement with other WA members).

I use several places here at WA.

1. Site Comments in the Site Rubix menu.
2. The give and take thread. 3. Product Review page. For newer members I would use the Give and Take thread listed above and for a little more experienced members I would move to the Site Comments. (When I say experienced members, I just mean someone who has been here for at least a month and has started writing more than one or two articles).

I hope that helps you.

Rick

Thank you, that helps a lot. Much appreciated

You are rocking and rolling! I enjoy your posts. Thanks Rick!

Thanks for sharing Rick.

IMHO(not that anyone's asking), #7 on your list is the most important for your future success.

Keep up the good work on your sites.

I agree that the amount of content may be one of the bigger points but I would have never started writing the content without starting the training first.

Rick

You seem as though you are doing everything right. Congratulations on your work ethic and more importantly being a contributing member of the community.
Wishing you every success.
With Grace and Gratitude
