What is your Motivation to Keep Going Forward?

Ever since I was a kid I am always involved in some form of business. There was never a time that I do not have something to sell. I love the idea as I am always ahead of my peers and siblings when it comes to money. Well that's what I think:)

I can tell by experience when a customer is ready to buy and I can differentiate those that will never buy even how much they pretend.

When I started my online business I was shocked when I realized that it is is a different ballgame. You can never see the customer's eyes to know if they are buying or not.

Then I quit my good paying job, stepped out of my comfort zone and ventured into this strange and exciting business at the same time.

What motivates me?

I have a need to quit my job even though I love it. I have to be with my family. I have saved more than half of my earnings on that job and invested in a couple of offline businesses.

It did not made my decision to quit my job for some reasons. It is my online business that made me decide to quit. Did it changed my life? Oh yes, I love the freedom of being able to do what I want to do.

No more alarm clock for this kid:)

So what's next for me?

A brick and mortar business is great as there is serious money there. The only thing is that it is not that easy to scale up. You need more capital to do that and I am not a fan of taking bank loans.

I realized that in an online business you can scale up without the need of a lot of capital. So I figured out that I have to go full online as soon as I can. The opportunity is here than elsewhere.

This is my motivation to keep going forward and I am dead serious on this business!

What about you? What is your motivation? How hungry are you to achieve your goals?

Cheers,

Belden

No ice breaker there but remindful yes. What keeps me going is the potential to influence others from Christ

Thank you:)

to be helpful, grateful and kind.

Thank you:)

My motivation is to be free to be my own boss.

Thank you:)

My motivation is to break away from the need to work for someone else. To be able to work for myself.

Thank you for the comments:)

I believe in this too. An online blog is very scalable once you gain momentum and the traffic is flowing. We've already seen plenty of examples.

Like you said, the beauty of this is you don't need to invest much capital and the profit margin is very high. We just need to put in the required work, which is sometimes that hardest part. That's where the motivation to surpass yourself kicks in.

Like you, my motivation is freedom!, Freedom to be your own boss, freedom of working when you feel like working and not when someone else tells you to. And of course financial freedom.

Well said, thank you:)

I’m as hungry as you but for different reasons. :)

I’m not without my family, and we really like our jobs. But I can see something that really needs doing that nobody is quite doing in whole. There is a next level I need to take the conversation on ecommerce to, and it will happen only with small steps, hard work, a PhD thesis, and a blog.

I am stewing on these ideas so much that I dream about them. I wake up with next steps and tasking. Three nights ago, an especially vivid dream, laden with solutions and new perspectives simmered to the top of my conciousness. The ideas were so vivid they are still motivating action even now.

That's a great motivation to move forward! Just keep on doing what needs to be done and you will get there. Seek guidance from the community.

I am not into e-commerce but I am sure somebody here is an expert on this subject.

I just want to achieve but it is a long hard haul for me as everything I try just doesn’t work try to set up amazon site links don’t work properly getting nowhere but I am determined to get ther.

As long as you are motivated and keep taking those necessary steps, you will get there.

Hi Belden,
It's great that you can fire your boss and be your own boss. I fired mine a long time ago.
My motivation is not just to see what's at the end of the tunnel, but to be debt-free, to complete my mortgage payments, improve my standard of living and help others to do the same.
That's my motivation.
So may success be ours.

Wendy
