I use HTML since Wordpress sites use this for the base structure. I did a training on one particular affiliate that you might be able to get some help from. This was done a while ago and each affiliate has their own slant on things but give it a read and you never know what you will find. Linking with Rakuten Affiliate Network incorporating LinkShare

Hi there, Just looking for some insight for creating a great looking home page and basically what are the fundamentals I should have on my home page.

Most themes are made in such a way to show blog roll as home page, so I keep it that way. I guess it depends what you want with your site. In my view this is not so important. People search by using some keywords, and end up in your specific posts/pages. Nobody will search for your site, unless you are Wikipedia or something of the kind, so I would not expect many people coming directly to your home page.

I just have a blog roll... but if you want a static home page for your website perhaps let us know what you niche is and what your website is about. Remember you also have an about page... and here you will give information about your website and yourself too.
