Hanging on by my fingernails

Last Update: March 14, 2022

I have lost hearing in my right ear and am partially deaf in the left, the stress of PTSD has caused blood vessels in my inner ears to become swollen,

I can not stand up straight as my ears are not working correctly and my balance has gone due to vertigo

I get screaming in my left ear in the quiet hours every night

I wake up shouting and screaming in the early hours of the morning as I fight my past abusers in my dreams

I feel in an almost constant state of anxiety and stress

I am exhausted and struggling to hang on to my sanity

I can not focus on anything my head feels like its in a silent prison, my head feels like its in a ever tightning vice

I am hanging on by a thread

This is what emotional and mental abuse does to human beings

My abusers will have no idea what they did to me, nor will my parents but I am left with the results of their behavour

My belief in God and my sobriety which will be 18 years on 2nd April is what keeps me going

I just needed to share this with you all I need to tell the world how it feels right now

Barry

Keep trusting in God and lay these burdens upon Him, and He will deliver you, Barry!

You are still on my prayer list, my friend!

God is king, Jeffrey.
!469 was an important year.

It was when "equality" was born.

You are a very special person. Thank you for being.

Peace.

Paul from Canada.

I hope that our paths will cross one day.

Come talk to us often, and we will do our best to help you with your trials and terrors. I feel bad for you, but am encouraged because you found your way here. People in this organization will do their best to give you positive support.

Your ongoing sobriety should be a helpful part of your healing. You have come so far just to have overcome the devil of drink. You have people here who can appreciate your journey, and hopefully someone will give you just the right message to help you heal.

Congratulations on your sobriety. It's something I've battled with as well.

You will learn to trust again, but it takes time.

Just remember you are not alone.
