Enabling comments in WordPress pages and posts

Hi all I just saw a question on comments in WP it seems like a common one so I will answer it for you all in case there is any doubt
How to enable comments in your pages or posts
Step one
Go to page or post and look at the top of your screen to the right like the image below
Look to the right of the image at the top and you will see the tab called
SCREEN OPTIONS - CLICK ON THIS AND YOU WILL SEE THIS WINDOW APPEAR
Check the boxes that say - COMMENTS AND DISCUSSION
They are to the left on the second row
CLOSE THIS BOX AND THEN GO TO THE BOTTOM OF YOUR PAGE OR POST AND YOU WILL SEE THIS
Check the boxes that say allow comments an tack backs and you all done

I did all this and enabled comments in the quick edit, still no comment box. I am in the Omega theme on wordpress. Anyone knows the solution to this?
Good info, but add to that the "allow comments" in the quick edit part of the post or page. without this, the comment box will not show.
