How may I be of some help to you?
As a young man working for Andrew Carnegie, Chartes Schwab would remain in the office at the end of the day and not leave, until Mr.Carnegie left for the day.
One evening, when Carnegie was leaving, he turned to Charles and said, "Why is it that you are always here at the end of the day when I leave? Everyone has gone home, but you stay behind".
To this enquiry Charles responded," Sir, I stay to see, if I may be of some help to you".
Mr. Carnegie was stunned. So, few people stay longer than the end of the workday. But Andrew smiled and went on is way.
Each day the same scenario played out. Andrew would leave and Charles would greet him good evening. This went on for months.
One day Andrew called Charles into his office and sat him down. Charles thought he had made a grievous error in his work and thought he was going to be sacked.
Andrew was known for being gruff and short tempered and Charles braced himself for the hammer that he thought was about to be brought down on his career.
Andrew paced back and forth and finally turned to Charles snd said,"Young man, I going to send you to Cleveland to oversee the construction our new steel factory. You are always here when I need you and I truly believe you may be of some help to me in this important undertaking".
You never know from whence good fortune may comes.. But it starts by being of help to other people no matter what the business may be.. Showing up and staying around is half the battle.
And the rest is history.
Best wishes to everyone.

Hi Dan, a powerful message about how helping someone else, you are often rewarded.
All the best,
Michael
So true. And you never know where it may come from. All one can do is have a positive mindset, be willing to give, and be prepared to receive. As long as your "mind" can reside outside of time and space it will happen.
Cheers
