A Productive Day on purpose

I got up early today (6:00 am), got the dog out, made a pot of my favorite coarse grind coffee, sat down and got 90% of the way through an article I've been struggling with in WA site content.

I used my notes in OneNote and Notion to move the piece long and am pleased with the outcome.

I will finish and publish the article tomorrow.

Later I deleted all the emails that had no resonance with the things I'm doing at the present time. Making room for what's most important....

I took breaks and did chores at the cabin to clear my head. It was a very rewarding day.

Weather was beautiful after a late night refreshing rain. Low of 62. High today 80 .

Beautiful in my book...

Got an article to write? Just do it. Get it in draft mode and enjoy the process.

Take breaks to refresh.

And make some headway.

You'll feel really good about yourself at the end of the day.

Guaranteed!!!!

Have a great day folks..

I agree. To be productive, we need to be intentional no matter what the resource of the productivity.
Jim

When I was in the service during boot camp we got up and started moving. Our actions became automatic after just a few days. Doing things proactively is difficult at first. But new habits can be formed rather quickly when you eliminate distractions.

Wonderful to hear Dan. Sounds like a very productive day. Rinse and repeat!

Edwin

It’s been working pretty well the key is consistency. Nice hearing from you

Now that’s a great way to start the day…

The key is to do it often enough to make is difference.

Ok so I normally take a day and reach out to get to know some of the WA members. I try to help as much as I can so I can get as much as possible from this platform. I was ending my day by giving some Site Feedback from one of the courses Kyle showed and now it's asking for the below items before I can. Is this new because I didn't have to do this last week?

{When providing comments, please be thorough and unique. Comments that are engaging will allow the owner (and others) to interact. The better comments you offer, the better comments you will receive! View more instructions!

Feedback is very important for those who ask for it. Comments help the writer see areas where improvements may be needed. Try not to make it boilerplate. Original and unique comments are the most helpful
I confess I have been remiss is asking and giving comments on website / content.
I plan to do more in the future.
The more you give the more you will receive. You can bank on it.

Much success to you

Dan

Hi - it looks as though you are mixing up Site Feedback and Site Comments; they are 2 different things.

With Site Feedback, you offer constructive advice on how someone can improve their website. It's personal between you and the site owner.

With Site Comments, first of all, you need a Gravatar account because whatever you say will be published on their website. You are, in effect, pretending to be a genuine visitor who has read a post and wants to talk about it. You don't offer advice.

So, it sounds as though last time you were offering feedback and didn't need a Gravatar. But now you are offering comments and do need one.

Ow I get that, and I love doing it because it helps the WA team. Much to your success sir.

Thanks,
Kevin

That i 0 percent correct I didn't catch that. I have not delt with Site Comments yet just Site Feedback. I also appreciate all your help and I hope I don't get you aggravated because you seem to answer most.

Thanks,
Kevin

Always happy to help!

Very well done, Dan! We had some very nice weather today after rain overnight, as well. I've been working on a post too. I think you have been a bit more productive though, my friend!

Jeff

Often I get up and “ hope” I’ll have a productive day. Today I gave myself no slack. Felt good to kick myself in the butt.
Thanks for sending the nice weather this way!!!!!

I need to do more of that, Dan! Thanks for the motivation!

Jeff
