Indexed by Google Once Again

It's always exciting to find out that another post has been indexed. Every post of mine, except the first two, has been indexed by Google. One post was actually found on the first page. Wonderful. At least, I feel like I'm headed in the right direction.

The one I wrote just last week has been indexed. I went to jaaxy to see if I actually could find out where it was located. Jaaxy tells me they can't find it and suggests that I upgrade. Well, I can't afford to upgrade, so I'll wait.

I got curious and decided to see if the website would come up if I just entered it on Google as a search item.Voila! There it was - full post, color-headings body, comments. Now that was exciting. I still don't know the exact location but it was so good to see.

I feel like I'm in a rut. One year at WA and the most I can do is write good copy?

I'm not so quick with other stuff: links, buttons, landing pages, categories, social media, on and on. But if I work on it long enough, I'll get it. At least, that is what I keep telling myself.

I'm somewhat of an impatient person. I like thing to move along, but I also know that sometimes things don't move along as fast as you'd like.

This past Sunday, I presented a proram of piano selections for the residents of the senior community where I live. Had a good crowd, and I must admit, I did a pretty good job.

But, in order to do a presentable job, I had to put in many hours of practice. Even though I knew the material from many years back, I couldn't expect to just sit down and perform without preparation. I spent two to four hours almost every day for three months in order to give a presentable program.

And, so it is with our own websites.They are always a work in progress. In order to accomplish our goals, we must be willing to put in a lot of hours.

I keep telling my self that. I'm delighted that my posts are indexed. But, in order to realize my goal- that of a successful business- I still have a lot of practice to do. After all, "Practice makes perfect".So I have been told. I'm counting on it.
